Are his initials PH?I cannot like this post enough. Spot on. I have a friend that loathes that song, and every time it plays he loses his shit.

Wyoming Marketing and Game Day Staff live in a script and not in the momentAs somebody mentioned, when Burman first took the helm, that disappeared. They tried to bring it back, but nobody knew how to make it happen. Lately - the last 10 years or so, they have fumble-fucked it up so bad, it is embarrassing to even try.
Are they retiring Cotton Eye Joe ????
Agree that the song itself is terrible. That would be a huge blessing, but likely not. Kids love that shit.
No, but I guess there are more than a few that loathe that song! Good to know! Are his initials PH?
Point given. The concept of something which would excite the students and pump up the team is in my opinion valid. The students are the driving force of crowd energy at the game, the tune should reflect what they like. Here’s a stat to put this in perspective.
Lose yourself was released 24 years ago.
The Bee Gees Stayin Alive was the most popular song/band 24 years before that.
I can’t imagine college me ever saying, man let’s play some Bee Gees. Love that contemporary music.
Cowboys from Hell does exactly that!Point given. The concept of something which would excite the students and pump up the team is in my opinion valid. The students are the driving force of crowd energy at the game, the tune should reflect what they like.
This has been played routinely at games and I am sure is in the conversation.Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy - Big & Rich
Meh. Find a banger. No country music for a hype song. This has been played routinely at games and I am sure is in the conversation.
These 3 all makes sense: 1) Should've been a Cowboy; 2) Friends in Low Places; 3) Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy.
