Well when We only turn the ball over 6 times we should have a chance to win. The difference was they made 7-15 3 pointers and Wyoming was 3-18 i think with Leonard Washington shooting 8 of them. It would be okay with me if Leonard took a couple of 3's a game but when he is pulling up 8 times that is not good. Also Gilmore has been shooting over 42% from 3 and the last 3 or 4 games he is like 2 for 20. Shooting slump.

Not to worried about it though. UNLV is by far the most talented team in the league and I don't think anyone will beat them at Vegas this year in conference so losing tonight doesn't bother me. Wyoming will have a decent chance to beat them at home.

Just need to win our next two games at home.

Other than CSU going into Vegas and beating UNLV? There are other teams that will go into Vegas and beat UNLV but Wyoming isn't just going to struggle on the road. We are going to struggle everywhere anytime we don't have 4 players in double figures scoring.

Larry Shyatt is building a team and he already has my respect and regardless what happens from here on out as long as he is coaching here I know I will enjoy watching the Pokes!

So you think CSU will go into Vegas and beat UNLV? I don't. I think UNLV will be primed and pumped to put a whooping on CSU when they go to Vegas. CSU beat UNLV in Fort Collins not in Vegas last week.

I wasn't truly upset with this loss, as we all knew it was going to be tough, but I'm not impressed with the Rebels either, with that much talent they shoulda ran us outta the building. Last night Leonard was too passive to not play down low more, what was that 3 point shooting effort, man up play in the paint, get them in foul trouble, afterall Moser was a non factor. Nance, I love the kid but he still plays way too passive, to have 14 at half and only have 2 in 2nd half, there's something wrong, too passive for contact??? I don't get it, his leash needs to be taken off and let's see this kid shine. Josh looked like a true freshman last night, tentative etc. Derrious, streaky, too many dumb shots and dumb passes. Cooke needs to start scoring more and Riley looked like a chicken with his head cut off. Still upset Luke's not with us as this game woulda been way closer, but hey it is what it is. WE better play AF tougher or they'll run us outta the gym as well. Maybe this is where the lack of depth will really start to show, aaaargh.... but to be 15-3 at this point of the season I'll take any day of the week.

This was a legitimate loss. Even though there was some home cooking going on, we got outplayed. Our other two losses probably should have been wins. We knew this conference was going to be tough. Only one day to prepare for AF is scary, but if any coaching staff can get their game plan and team ready in the short amount of time they have, our's can.

I logged on just to point out the obvious about what's already been said - the loss of Martinez. If Martinez was still on this team, we either win or keep it very damned close last night, and in my mind that's a fact. An added 10+ points, including 3's, a handful of steals, and the added defense. Nothing against the rest of the team, but you can't win with only two guys producing, and with little to no bench.

Yeah, what's done is done. But I'm still bitter about it. With any sort of team, Shyatt will out-coach almost anyone, that was apparent last night. However, the lack of that third producer, both offensively and defensively, will be the difference this year between battling for the one of the top 3 or 4 spots in the MWC or the settling for the middle or worse.

We need someone that can beat someone off the dribble. We saw what happens when you can, UNLV did it all night. Man gets beat, help slides over, pass to open man for layup or dunk. Nance and Washington would be far more productive if we had one guy that could get to the rack. Ewing would be the perfect type player for us right now.

The worst part of this all is Washingtons last year could have potentially been a year to remember for Wyoming. Instead it's just a year to remember that everyone will say was a weak schedule and anyone could have done it because we can't win unless the other team is in a slump.

See Fresno, BSU, SDSU and UNLV, We lost because of being in a slump to Fresno, BSU just straight up out shot us and UNLV played mediocre but we couldn't take advantage of any of it. w/ Martinez we have only lost 1 game so far that is just my opinion but I feel I'm pretty accurate on it.
