3 Wyo native walk-ons quit

Meh. Not much trouble in this. Lose some walk-ons who aren't on scholarship. Our luck, hill will bail.
 
They released a joint statement tonight

That's to bad to see riley in there. His dad was the powell coach that led them to some 3a championships and he passed away a while back. Kid has had some bad luck. Wish these wyo guys the best. Hopefully this won't continue to be a trend. I don't care if they are walk ons I like to see the wyo guys on the roster.
 
This shit is old news. I am quite concerned as to why it is being reported now...for several reasons.

The 2 Laramie kids, from what I understand, left the team prior to the 9/12 game against Eastern Whatever.

And as Cuttslam stated - pretty typical. Hard to walk on and stick it out these days.
 
As much as I would like to blame Bohl for this it is typical for walk-ons to discover that it is harder than they thought to become a contributing part of a D1 team. Very few can actually walk on and eventually play.
 
This wasn't any coach's fault, it wasn't the program's fault, and it wasn't because it was too tough to practice/play. There were, as they say, other factors.
