6-game winning streak is a possibility. Won't be easy, but THIS needs to be the stretch where Wyoming solidifies itself as a MW contender. Never seen a champion that didn't make a run at some point.

@Fresno W
New Mexico
@Utah State
Nevada
Colorado State
@Air Force

Wyoming should win all of those games actually. None of them will be tougher than the SDSU or the Fresno road game. New Mexico will be tough at the pit but they won't be tough in Laramie. Wyoming should handle them at home easy.

We haven't beat the Lobos in years. They'll be tough anywhere, I don't care who they lost.

I would normally agree with this and it won't be easy but honestly we shouldn't lose to New Mexico at home this year. We just shouldn't. That is a game we should absolutely win.

Road win is a nice win. But this was VERY UGLY It does say a lot that we could pull it off in 3 OT though ... Not sure what to think ...
Not every win is going to be pretty. Winning the ugly games IMO separates the good from the average.
That is very true

We should beat them. I just don't think you can't count anyone as a win, especially a team we haven't beaten in something like our last 12 games.

I do agree that we should win that at home. In the Pit, they're probably still favored.

Especially with a full week of practice!

Yeah I agree with you. Can't count any game as a win really but if we play our style of ball we should win these next 6 games.

This win has got to go down as one of, if not the most memorable wins in Cowboy history. I saw an AF/WY game go 3 OTs once, but there was more on the line this time and this one was on the road.

That game, if the 2002 game, was 4 OT's.

We are due to win one of the close games against New Mexico

Definitely.

Get this full week of practice, work on turnover issues, and come out prepared to beat New Mexico.

I remember talking to Josh a year ago when I had a class with him and he said something about how they really wanted to beat NM since they never have. I'm sure the desire to beat them is even worse now.

I hope to see a new energy starting next saturday. Hope the crowd still shows even without the number next to our name.

With NM's schedule the next few games, they could very well be 6-1 in MWC play (1/2 game ahead of us) when they come into the AA.

You guys see this stat from the game? Fresno St. was 7-34 from the 3 point line. I knew they took a lot of 3's tonight but damn they took 34 three's this game.

And it was in Laramie. got back to Casper pretty late that night!

I forgot that game went 4 OTs, but I thought it would never end. I had just about as far to go home as you did.

just read this entire thread.
We are 1-18 now right? Worst team most of you have ever seen pulled it out of their asses! :roll:

This is why I normally try not to post during the games.

I was an emotional roller coaster and still can not fucking believe Larry missed two FTs but my God I am stoked now!

There is a slim chance we may still be ranked next week. Three top 25 teams, Seton Hall, Ok st and Ark all will be out this next week, leaving three opening. The teams directly behind us Ohio St and MSU both had losses this last week,
Dayton will be in, Indiana is a maybe, St Johns is a maybe, G-town maybe andSDSU maybe.
We may hold steadfast in this. But if not, we shouldn't drop off too bad.

Yeah I looked at the teams around us, Dayton should replace Okie State. Other than that? It might all stay the same teams. I don't see how teams could jump past 10 or so teams from 12 or so votes into the Top 25

Indiana plays today, if the win they are more than likely in.

Since SDSU beat us and then took care of UNLV they may jump from 39 to our spot or above us.

G-Town went 2-0 this week, so they may jump us from 33.

SMU will jump, who knows how far from 42. And CSU even though they went 2-0 this week, it was arguably against the two worst teams in the league. They will bump up, but who knows how far. 17-2 is hard to argue with. But then again they are getting more love than 17-3 Valpo who isn't even receiving votes.

I'm not worried, cause even if we fall out for a week, we shouldn't fall far out. And if we take care of business against UNM next week, we may jump right back in.
