Great rebuttal Einstein

One would have figured that you would have moved on to Oregon by now. Espousing them with the greatness of your team....

All the late hits and unsportsmenlike penalties is evidence of this.PokeOLoco said:You went 5-7 last year, are sloppy and mistake prone, and will be the only blue blood program to never return to former glory. Pelini won games but his culture remains a cancer in your locker room. Search your feelings, you know it be true.
CowBoyL said:Look at the game Golladay had. We knew they wanted to go to him and still struggled to stop it. Nebraska has more than 1 highly talented wide receiver. I'd stay away from this bet, seeing as how you are NEVER allowed to bet against the brown and gold. The pokes made me some good cash last weekend, but I think the big play ability of NE says to look at the other games on Saturday for your cash. Hope I'm terribly wrong! Louisville, Ohio State, and Notre Dame will give you your best bet this weekend.
Minor point, but I said "most", not "everyone" agrees. And while it was a cute effort to show how much love there is (was?) for Mike by digging up old articles, how is one regarded as one of the best head coaches when he delivers a losing record in his own conference at OS and then comes to Nebraska and does the exact same thing? Hell, in a way, Nebraska is now sort of the Wyoming of the BIG 10. Sure they'll win some games, but not the conference any time soon. And as far as being an NFL coach is concerned, you do realize that he had a crap record, right?Fade-To-Black said:cowboyz said:I feel there are two threads right now, the one we can all read and the one that you are responding to that exists only in your head. Believing your team will cover the spread is not really talking shit. And if it makes you sleep better, yes, Nebraska handed us our asses.Fade-To-Black said:Ha...what should I expect from a bunch of "never been there" college football fans. Talked a bunch of shit, then can't man up, and admit you got your asses handed to you.
52-17...deal with it.
Just plain sad that my uncle was the mayor of Cheyenne. A family embarrassment.
It seems everyone said that Wyo was going to lose the game. Yes, it was mentioned that your new coach is not as good as your old coach, most football people would agree with that.Your QB is average as is your team. I don't see any mean spirit in those posts, it's true. Nebraska was once great and might be again. Probably not, but maybe. You let a 2 win team, from a lower football conference, with a still-green QB, play you within one score into the 4th quarter, on your home field! I'm sorry to say, but Oregon, OSU, etc. will not be so kind as to fall apart in the last quarter. Let's face it, you'll probaly lose to Illinois in a couple weeks as well.
Good luck this season, your team played well, but let's be realistic. This is Nebraska 2016, not 1997. You're pretty average at your level.
The statement in bold tells me everything I need to know about your knowledge of college football.
Yeah, "everyone agrees that Pelini is a better coach than Riley". That's why no team would touch Pelini after he was canned at Nebraska, and why he was exiled to Youngstown State, toiling away in complete obscurity. Zero P5 or even non-FCS offers.
Coach Riley has turned down head-coaching job at Alabama & USC, was an NFL coach, and is widely regarded in the college coaching community as one of the best head coaches out there. He chose to stay at Oregon State despite having a massive recruiting disadvantage against Oregon, because he loved the community and the people. When Nebraska came calling, he thought it was an excellent fit considering the programs history and the University/community.
This is why it's fun talking football with a fan base of the podunk University/program. Absolutely zero football IQ on your side...makes these conversations very entertaining if nothing else.

Cheap entertainment… plus you're all so easy.

I can admit I was wrong, I did not see Nebraska beating Oregon. It'll be interesting to see if you can as well when the time comes...Fade-To-Black said:ItSucksToBeACSURam said:Have fun talking. When Oregon smokes you fools this weekend I am sure your tone will change
Ha,Ha,Ha,Ha... What a tool. And you call us fools. Has my "tone" changed enough for ya.
