It's also good to keep in mind NIU gave your team all it wanted on Offense, with a pretty vanilla play calling.

you know what... you're right. let's not even play the game. it'll be a waste of everyone's time. Nebraska is a very AVERAGE Big 10 team. Is this a huge challenge for us? absolutely. But come on....did you watch Iowa? Did you watch Wisconsin? Nebraska is very very average in their conference. I think the pokes will keep it close.

Hate to bring reality to you guys, but our receivers are light years ahead of yours, per recruiting advantages. We're nothing like NIU, and it'll probs be a blood bath. Our return game is dangerous :)

They might be. I even doubt that's the case. Two of our receivers had more combined catches than Nebakraska threw all night.

Luckily, we're not even discussing our receivers. We're discussing the receiver that we faced last week, that will get drafted higher than any catcher of the ball that wears red and eats bugs, including Westercamp.

You "probs" didn't read the whole thread.

Boy I never realized all 200 people in Wyoming are as classless as you... You had more catches, sure, but that doesn't reflect how much better our boys are than yours. Not to mention we have a stable of running backs at our expense. Our safety comes back to boot. Should be ~30 points when it's all said and done, pokie. :)

Classless??? Does this guy even know what that term means? Nothing said in the prior posts was even resembling an uncouth comment. Stable of running backs makes me laugh too. Wyoming will have the best running back in the stadium tomorrow on their sidelines, and our back up is pretty damn good too. Top to bottom you may have a better average talent at RB (or IB as they call it at UNL), but the best RB in Memorial Stadium will be wearing brown and gold.

Yeah, we wouldn't know anything about that. We only have the all-time leading rusher in Wyoming history(barring injury), the seventh all-time leading rusher in Wyoming history(and moving up the list), and a pre-season all-american fullback in our backfield. Did I mention, we have a freshmen all-american safety? You'll have an easy time with them, I'm sure.

No one is scared of Nebraska. Tom Osborne retired. Now you're a 7-6 B1G team, that started out the season 1-0, with a college coach(100-87 all-time) who's best season in the history of his career is 10-4.

What's to be scared of? Nebraska is the 2016 definition of average. That's reality.

I certainly don't expect to beat Nebraska, but I also don't think they're nearly as good as their fans believe. If we get stomped tomorrow, it's because our team still has a long way to go in terms of consistency, experience, and depth. We were 2-10 last season, after all.

Honestly, reading Husker fan posts here and on a couple of other boards makes me think of CU fans when their program came crashing to the earth. They kept talking big. Dan Hawkins was the next big thing, and their next game they were going to win in a blow-out.

Sure, Huskers aren't quite that bad, but their fans have the same annoying arrogance even though their team by all evidence isn't quite as good as it should be (i.e. comfortably ranked around #10-15) .

Golladay is a good player, but he was dominated as recently as their bowl game last December. Nebraska will have play makers just as good, if not better. Thankfully Nebraska still starts Tommy Armstrong at QB. He alone gives any Husker opponent a chance.

Their FIFTH string qb was throwing the ball to him in that game.

Golladay is 6'5", 220, and super fast. He's on the Billetnekoff watch list. I don't think Nebraska has a receiver any where near as good as Golladay.

No. But they won't need one. The offensive Nebraska line will be much better than UNI's so the QB will have more time to pass to faster-than-the-defense Poke secondary.

I don't know if they will or not. We'll find out.

That's not the point. Yeah, we'll probably lose. They have a phenomenal home field advantage. We've been struggling to mop up the shit puddle DC left.

That doesn't change the fact that I think 24.5 is a tad bit high. I guess we'll find out, but I don't see us losing by three touchdowns, a field goal, and half an extra point.

Nebraska was 7-6 last year. Their head coach has a career coaching record of 100-87. His best year ever was 10-4. They're an average program. They aren't the Big Red of 20 years ago.

Nebraska is beatable. We might not beat them, but we aren't going to lose by 25 points either.

Wow everything escalated quickly. It's nice to converse with another fan base that actually knows football. Can't wait for tomorrow

Is this the same Nebraska that fired Pelini who had a record of 66-27 in 7 years, and the guy that replaced him had a record of 93-80 in 14 years at OSU. And then this great coach who replaced Pelini finished 2015 with a 6-7 record. Yeah, bright bunch over in Lincoln..................

I don't think the Pokes have much of a chance in this one, but for Nebraska fans to be thumping their chests after beating FSU (that's Fresno State, not Florida State bugeaters) and saying they are ready for the national championship is pretty fucking laughable. Must have gotten into a silo of fermented corn.

And Junky, Nebraska was 6-7 last year.

When was Wyo ever good? Besides never? It's funny seeing you classless jerks talk tough. I had better expectations from Wyo people. I was gonna wish a good game coming over here but I don't wanna waste time with jerks.

At least your fans here are pretty cool, I guess it's something about hiding behind a computer screen that makes people turn into a keyboard warrior :)

(Last post) for the guy who said we're like Colorado: if you remember we don't throw snowballs, batteries, or point lasers in opposing teams eyes. Read the side of our stadium "through these gates pass the GREATEST fans in college football." Your team will be cheered on win or lose.

One thing I see said slot is that Nebraska's o line is so much bigger than niu's was.... Makes me wonder if they even went and compared, as far as I'm concerned, niu's may be the biggest and most experienced we face all year. Notice I didn't say best, that remains to be seen
