If you have Adobe Acrobat Reader, you can get the entire schedule on this link...

Can't figure out a way to copy and paste it.

BTW, why are we allowed 3 exhibition games? I thought 2 was the max.

I'm pretty sure the NCAA increased the maximum exhibition games allowed from two to three starting this season.

Two of those games (Northern Colorado and TCU) are our best non-conference games outside of the "tournament" games at the Sunshine Slam.

The TCU game in Midland is an interesting one. I have no clue why TCU would want the game in Midland and not at their home arena in Fort Worth. Maybe they are treating the game as a run through for playing on the road?

Our Best non-con game is North Carolina.

Our Best non-con game is North Carolina.
No. That is our best opponent. They will slaughter us and it will do absolutely nothing to get us ready for the conference season.

The best non-conference games, in my opinion, are against teams at the same level or slightly better than you on a neutral court.

I'll go over this on the pod, but our best non-conference games are, in order:
  1. @ the sheep
  2. home vs. Sam Houston St.
  3. neutral vs. Kent State
Similar to slightly-better teams in 3 different environments. As TheRealUW stated, North Carolina is a good road trip for fans, but they're going to kick the shit out of the Cowboys. Still, it's a good measuring stick to really highlight the team's weaknesses so the coaches know where they need to focus most. It's also very advantageous that we have an exhibition game against TCU. They were very similar in record to the Tar Heels last year in a very good league. The coaches will want to make their assessments against the Frogs and see how well the adjustments work against NC.

I wish they were playing High Point over Kent State, but playing two teams from the Big South doesn't make much sense.

Texas Tech didn't slaughter us and this UNC team is not as good as that Tech team.

We don't really know how good this UNC team is, but you make a good point.

We played out of our mind in that Texas Tech game. Multiple guys were making plays in that game that I never saw them make the rest of the season. Like 80% of our roster had their best game of the season in that game. That game really got my hopes up for the season.
