I cannot forgive the embarrassing losses this HC has achieved

Ok, but which Wyoming HC HASN'T had embarrassing losses? Glenn also dropped ugly games to UNM, UNLV. Christensen had his fair share of bad losses. Dimel got smoked by UNLV, a bad SDSU team, and an awful Tulsa team. Tiller lost to a Big West San Joser and a bad Tulsa team as well. Hell, even Paul Freaking Roach lost to a 3-win Washington State team by double digits.

In my life? Not sure that any coach has laid a bigger turd than losing at home to NORTH f##k[#] DAKOTA 24 - 13 in 2015. Add on the next week drubbing by Eastern Michigan
48 - 29, and a throttling by App State 31-13 a few weeks after that. Worst season ever. Worst losses ever. Still pisses me off obviously.

Yes, you are correct, all UW coaches have dropped games they shouldn't, but not to that disgusting level. At least Glenn's teams didn't Sh#t their collective pants going up against Pee5 schools (looking at Ole Miss, Varginia, Tennessee, UCLA).
I've never been so dejected as after that North Dakota loss. We were manhandled and were lucky to score the points we did. The EMU loss was almost as galling.

Those first two Bohl years were incredibly bad...I knew we were bad coming out of what DC left...just didn't know how bad.

I can see anywhere from 2-10 to 8-4.

I'm hoping for 6-6, but this feels like a 4-5 win team.

Even if Peasley is decent, who is he throwing to? I will believe in the passing game when I see it. :?

My thought is how long till we see a different QB if Peasly isn't cutting it?

To me, this has been the biggest weakness of Bohl and co. In 15’ I can’t remember if Allen got the start because of Coffman injury. I believe he was a little nicked up and Allen started. Then waited way too long to start chambers instead of vanderwall. Then they waited too long to put Williams in after chambers and the offense sputtered. sounds like Svoboda is getting a few first team reps (from Cody’s article). If we’re 0-2, I see no reason to not go to Svoboda

I doubt our receivers will get much separation from defensive backs on mid-range passes.
Bohl says Peasley presently having trouble with accuracy on short dump off passes. Yikes!
Svoboda may see some action.
3-9 season.
I believe we may have a used car salesman dressed in coach's clothes.

Nah, he clearly knows how to put a good defensive product on the field most years. But that whole functional offense thing seems to elude him.

Hold up, I thought Bohl said the opposite. Peasley IS completing those short dump off passes.

Yall of little faith

Yes, yes that is me.

I have had my balls stomped by UW football since they dropped, with the exception of a few rare years or games. My expectations are as low as they were in 2002, if not lower.

Not to toot my own horn, but I got it exactly right last year predicting 6-6. I said it would be the end of the Bohl era. Sadly, I was wrong about that. I'm going to take the average number of wins in Bohl's first 2 seasons. That should get us a total of 3 wins. We get 2 wins OOC and 1 in conference.

I will also predict that attendance will start to decline. High ticket prices along with 9 dollar beers are hard to stomach when the team wins 1 home conference game. This year will probably be no different.
Then, Burman will be forced to act.

I thought it was cool when they started serving beer. Then they implemented the one entrance policy. I didn't really care about the booze sales, just hated I couldn't go back to the game.

Bought my first season tickets in 2006. Didn't renew them this year. Why?
- probably too many losses
- paying coaching staff too much
- NIL didn't bother me too much but it factored in
- Someone pointed out they were paying OL at texas $60ka a year now. That bugs the shit out of me.

I could handle some losing, some NIL, but this has become something we can't compete at. Paying players? $60k on the o-line? Pay back your education that I paid for. It's just too much for me to digest anymore. Giving thousands of dollars to the CJC? What is the point? #not a season ticket holder or donor anymore. Let the NFL pay for that.

I've been predicting a 3 win, 9 loss season for months now.
Bohl's overall 8 year losing record and losing conference record at WYO cannot be denied.
He is way over rated, over paid and over his head.
Burman loves the guy and continues to extend his contract.
Bohl seems to fool everyone.
If I had his talent I would go into politics!

Are they "super" though? Or are they shit, like all the other concessions at UW? They need to open that place up (and the AA) to private businesses / food truck folks - that can put out a better product, and a MUCH better variety.

The super nachos at the Mexican place on the west side stands are pretty good. And, Chick-fil-A needs to return.

We've been getting a lot of those in the Rock. Wing-It truck would probably do pretty good at a basketball game. I mow down some wings every time they are in town. Is the fact that there are zero actual kitchens at the concessions holding back what they can cook?

I am hopeful for a 30 win season and the Pokes spend more time "in" the top 25 than out of it.

Oh wait, this is the football thread. In that case I hope I can sit through most of the games. I also hope the season doesn't turn out to be as long as it looks like it might be and basketball gets here soon.

Well, the boys hit most your numbers for 4 wins. Knowing what you know now. Do we go 0-5 the rest of the way? I say there’s at least 2 wins out there but nothing is given. BSU D can handle our O. I seem to recall a few people saying 6 wins would be a miracle coach of the year type performance for Bohl.

Teams left on schedule are 2-4, 1-4, 1-4, 3-2 and 1-3.

They’ve outperformed my expectations. Partly because the conference is not good. I think we make a bowl which is a good accomplishment with the inexperienced team.
