After clearing 7 feet in the spring and winning his second high jump state title in two years in track, Donatlan wanted to explore that option as well. His winning leap last year would have been good for fourth at the NCAA outdoor championships.
Nebraska, Louisville and Iowa also expressed interest in Donatlan for track.

That said, he's being pretty heavily recruited by a lot of power 5 teams, including UCLA, Alabama, Washington, USC, A&M, and he recently visited Sooners (though they have 4 committed DEs, so hopefully that means they're out.
One can dream, right? Maybe he's been watching our current DEs.
