2018 Cowboy Football Recruiting

Could be a great one if we can find a way to make him a Cowboy.

Here's a link to an earlier thread about Cameron. Overland is good to us.

He's a fast, tall, kid that's really improved his track times over the last few years(so he's still getting faster).

Oh this was the kid with the insanely fast 400? wow. Awesome! I think we got a good one. I'm excited.

Not sure how this hasn't been mentioned, but tanner Gentrys little brother just committed.

This kid was a 2017 commit to Minnesota, but ACT/SAT scores were too low. Was thought to be going JUCO. Don't know if this would fall under 2017 or 2018, but thought it was worth mentioning.

Odd...Minnesota's academic standards aren't exactly Ivy League level...if he doesn't qualify for them he must not be off by much, can't imagine the Gophers are any higher than the Big Ten minimum qualifications.

Minnesota's acceptance rate was just 45 percent as of 2015

Acceptance rate has nothing to do with athletes getting accepted. Two things do: A) Do they meet our minimum guidelines, and B) If they don't, how far off are they and are they good enough for us to ignore the minimums and admit them.

I didn't see anyone post about this 18 TE recruit.

6'7" 233 lb TE Jackson Marcotte from Illinois.
