Was Antonio Hull listed as the starter going into last week? It seems like him and Gafford were on the field the majority of the time. It seems like Hull was getting targeted a lot, I don't remember hearing Priester's name much. Not sure if our CB's were really that bad last game, or if the lack of a pass rush let the QB find his time to be more accurate...
Based upon the 10/17/2016 depth chart below, Hull was the listed starter.

Good find, thanks. Hopefully that's the change we need to spark our pass D this week.

CBS Sports: The Monday After: It was a good weekend for Boise State and Bryan Harsin
And which school benefits the most from Houston's problems?

That would be Boise State. Now, the Broncos clearly still have some work to do this season, because even if they look like the best team in the Mountain West, there are still a few road blocks remaining. One of the biggest is a road trip to Wyoming next week.

CBS Sports: College Football Power Rankings: Clemson up, Ohio State down but not out

#9: With Houston's demise, we can start a different national discussion regarding the best of the Group of Five. Boise State looks like it, for now, after a one-point win over BYU. Bryan Harsin has the Broncos in the top 10 and his name in the mix for some high profile jobs.

Craig Bohl Weekly Press Conference - Week 9 (10-24-16) -- WyoVision

Wyoming Head Football Coach Craig Bohl's weekly press conference for Week 88 as the Pokes prepare to host #13 Boise State on Saturday at War Memorial Stadium.

CFBhuddle.com: Give A Good Coach Like Craig Bohl Time, Wins Come

Boise State’s impending visit to War Memorial Stadium marks a potentially pivotal moment in this program’s trajectory. Wyoming football burst onto the national stage in the late 1980s and into the first half of the 1990s, at a time when the now-football-defunct Western Athletic Conference established itself as a power conference — before the sport put such heavy credence on “power” and not.

Those teams, coached by Paul Roach and Joe Tiller, demonstrated Wyoming’s mile-high potential.

I believe this was the major reason Nevada's passing game was so successful.

Yep. And Nevada going all Air Force on our front 7, more than Air Force did, certainly played a part in that. Hardly a play went by when Nevada's o-line wasn't diving at the defenders' knees.

I made this comment during the game. Not sure I've seen a team do it besides AF

STORY: Wyoming’s Appleby ‘better than probable’ to play against Boise State (WyoSports.net)

“I don’t want to take anything away from the other guys who went in, but Chase is quick as a cat,” Bohl said of the 6-foot, 268-pound Appleby. “He’s got great explosion, and he’s able to beat guys one on one. Sometimes at that position you get a one-on-one block on a guard or get a push on the pocket, then all of the sudden the quarterback has to move around and is not able to set his feet. Losing Chase hurt.”

Nulph: Embrace what is coming Saturday, Wyoming fans (WyoSports.net)

But why not embrace the possibilities? Revel in what might be, in the fact that the Cowboys, for the first time in however long you want to categorize it, are part of a meaningful college football game.

And that goes for the program as well.

Can’t we all let ourselves get a little excited for what will be coming Saturday night?

I'll feel much better if Lee Corso (and his KOD) picks Boise to win Saturday:

Wyoming (13). Season in 10 words: Cowboys may not be great, but they’re no longer terrible.

After leaving a habitual winner at North Dakota State, Craig Bohl’s rebuilding job in Laramie was pretty painful for two seasons – the Pokes were a combined 6-18, and started 2015 with two double-digit losses as a double-digit favorite. But Bohl has turned it around, with Wyoming winning three straight Mountain West games for the first time since 2012. Now 5-2, they won’t be a walkover for Boise State on Saturday night.

Mountain West (27). The two teams at the top of the divisions are the past two conference champions: 2014 champ Boise State in the Mountain and 2015 champ San Diego State in the West. But as noted above, improving Wyoming could shake up the Mountain Division this weekend.

"The prediction: Wyoming 31, Boise State 28. The Broncos just feel like a team that is asking to be beaten, and Wyoming will oblige."

Best line I have read from national press in years.

Hopefully the Pokes lace em up tight and get after it saturday. I am all in on the Bohl Express and just popped the top on a brand new bottle of Brown and Gold Koolaid. Is this the year we finally turn things around!?!?!? LETS GO POKES!!!

WYOMING UP NEXT: Boise State will hit the road Saturday to play a resurgent Wyoming team that is 5-2 overall and tied with the Broncos atop the Mountain Division Standings at 3-0.

What was once considered a gimme game for the Broncos now becomes one of their biggest and most important contests of the season.

“Wyoming looks like a great team,” Sperbeck said. “Obviously they are undefeated in conference play so that’s huge for them and we’re going to have to have a great week of preparation and really grind this tape to come out with a win.”

I hope Sperbeck plays, he was a little beat up last game.

FootballScoop.com: Evaluating 3rd year FBS head coaches

Every job is different, every coach is different, but one truth stretches across the industry: by Year 3, you generally know. Third-year coaches, the hiring class of 2014, have crossed the 30-game barrier. The majority of the roster signed under their banner. The culture is theirs, for better or worse.

Craig Bohl, Wyoming. Record: 11-20 (7-12 MW). High point: The Cowboys’ current 3-game winning streak
2014 2015 2016
4-8 (2-6) 2-10 (2-6) 5-2 (3-0)

It appears the greatest experiment of the 2014 class is now taking hold. While North Dakota State ripped off two straight FCS titles, Bohl suffered through a 6-18 start in Laramie. This year’s Cowboys are 5-2 and in the midst of a 3-game winning streak, on the brink of their first bowl trip since 2011.

Two of nation’s best RBs set scene for Boise State-Wyoming (Kyle Kensing)

College football’s best showcase of opposing running backs in Week 9 emanates not from the SEC, Big Ten or Pac-12, but the Mountain West. The pairing of Wyoming’s Brian Hill and Boise State’s Jeremy McNichols should shape the outcome for Saturday’s match in Laramie, and set the MWC Mountain division’s course for the final month of the regular season.

Hill and McNichols provide a fascinating dynamic that should make for an intriguing chess match. The implications Saturday might come as a surprise, but don’t let yourself be shocked if this becomes the best running back showdown not just of the week, but the entire 2016 season.
