Wingard Named a Semifinalist for Jim Thorpe Award (gowyo.com)

Wingard is currently leading the Mountain West Conference and is ranked No. 8 in the nation in tackles, averaging 10.7 per game. He also leads the Mountain West and ranks No. 10 in the nation in solo tackles (6.1 per game).

* SECOND nationally with 1,010 rushing yards. Pumphrey (SDSU) is #1 with 1,246 yards.
* T-5th with 11 rushing TDs.

Was Antonio Hull listed as the starter going into last week? It seems like him and Gafford were on the field the majority of the time. It seems like Hull was getting targeted a lot, I don't remember hearing Priester's name much. Not sure if our CB's were really that bad last game, or if the lack of a pass rush let the QB find his time to be more accurate...

Based upon the 10/17/2016 depth chart below, Hull was the listed starter.
