He is from Northern California. Oldsmar Christian is a prep school, the kids are not necessarily local (although our Oldsmar recruits have been from Florida at least).

2016 prospect who has played summer ball with Austin Conway (Colorado Hawks):

Jermaine Haley, former Washington commit, is a 6'7" point out of Canada. His AAU coach is Pasha Baines. He recently decommited from Washington, and although he doesn't have Wyoming listed very highly, he does hold an offer from Wyoming.

I'm hoping we get a solid recruit in 2016, as we may only sign 1, possibly 2 if anybody leaves. We lose a legit guard in Adams and the obvious answer would be to land a solid combo guard. But I think going after a big would be our best course of action based off expected depth.

We'll have Lieberman, Washington, and Conway at the point. Mcmanamen, gorski, James, and Marshall (2015 recruits) to play the 2 or 3.

We have no proven bigs waiting in the wings, though. Herndon has decent playing time but is still a twig. Barnes is a long term project, Williams seems a bit shorter than his listed 6'8", and our 2015 recruits (moemka and naughton) don't seem like instant contributors.

With not many slots to fill, we definitely should be looking for a legitimate baller. Have we offered Conway's 5 star team mate?

I forgot about this thread. Here is the Dontay Bassett video:

You are talking about our bigs and herndon as if they need to play now. Remember this is all after adams leaves. Barnes and herndon will be juniors. They will be ready.

Oh I know. I totally understand that we're not talking about tomorrow. I just think that our future depth at the guard positions is more promising than our bigs.

I agree that they'll be ready, I can't wait to see them blossom this offseason

I agree.

I think 2016 has the chance to really ratchet up the talent level. The Oldsmar Christian pipeline could feed us again if we have a post transfer.

I didn't realize Deron Davis is only a junior. Maybe the conference title and new facility will interest him into visiting.

We have the ability to be extremely picky. We only have to fill one hole and whatever we lose to attrition.

Just bumping this thread so the guys on the other board don't have to work so hard to figure out who's in the pipeline...

:D

UW has offered Maxwell Kupchak, Brentwood CA, a 6'7" SF for 2015. He is Mitch Kupchak's son. Has offers from Nevada and Houston also.

Coach Shyatt has been around too long to get strung along by a recruit.

Yoeli Childs, 2016 teammate of Hunter Thompson gets a Wyoming offer...
