Yeah yeah, I know...no bowl, and basketball is doing well....but lets not shelve football until spring ball just yet.

2015 Schedule

North Dakota (Hold your gottdamn horses, UND, not NDSU)
Eastern Michigan
@Washington State (Upset opportunity....WSU is not good)
@Appalachian State (Files this one under "Games I never thought I'd see")

MW Slate

@Air Force
@Boise State
@San Diego State
@Utah State
Colorado State
Nevada
New Mexico
UNLV

My thoughts: Road schedule is a little rough...you could make an argument Wyoming will be underdogs in all of those games except App State. I see only two gimme games in North Dakota and Eastern Michigan. Everyone else poses a threat, although I think Nevada could be pretty bad next season.

Your turn...

5-7

And we have to hear all season about how Bohl doesn't have the players in place, and once his guys are upperclassmen we will see the return of Cowboy Tough football, and a return to the glory days.

Thanks for letting us know BP, I'll be sure to skip next season. :P

2015 always figured to be a tough season with so many key players graduating. DL depth is worrisome. QB play should be better. Should...and having Hill/Wick will make for arguably the MW's best running game. Of course, blocking is an issue, but those are two talented RBs.

Good news: Playing Washington State > Playing Oregon/Michigan State

Well if CSU is your toughest home game on paper and assuming the coach can somewhat improve the team you'd figure it's the best chance you'll have in a long time to sweep the 6 home games for once.

As bad as we were on Defense, I've lost all confidence in any "gimmie" win. With that schedule, it is the same as the past 8 years. 4 wins wouldn't at all be surprising and neither would 6.

3 or fewer would be a huge disappointment. 7 would be a good season and not too shocking. 8 or more wins would be unlikely but a hugely successful season.

I doubt the conference as a whole will be as bad as it was this year. We'll see.

7-5 Bohl's second year and the players are more prepared. Our offensive line is back, for the most part. We should see some more freshman contribute next year. I think we also see a major improvement at quarterback. I have heard very good things about Coffman in practice. I think next year is when we start to see a nice turn around.

Go Pokes!

8 wins! I think we lose at App State just bc of trip. We'll never beat Boise @ Boise I'm convinced. We will win 1 west coast trip @ Wazzu and drop one at SDSU (where we hardly win as it is) and we will lose in Logan (because we will never win there either I'm convinced). Then the remaining 4 home games are great! Good to get the Rams at home and the remaining three should suck next year and are all winnable. Sure would be cool if I'm right!

8-4

First 2 games will be cakewalks. Then Wash St could be won. Appy St & Air Force should be wins as well
Get off to a 5-0 start and watch out.

If Coffman is as good as some say he is, that will be a difference maker. Most of our earlier games were all the same, eight in the box while Kirk was holding the ball to long and staring down receivers against man coverage. Just having a Qb with actual FBS game experience will help this team win. While having both Oregon and MSU on the schedule was intriguing, it was bad for morale in my opinion. Nobody likes to know they're going to get beat down. The 2015 schedule doesn't present that " beat down " game. We have a Qb, a backfield and some experience on the O line. Receivers are a question mark though. Defensively we have those Florida players in the secondary with DJ May. Dline depth will be a concern along with linebackers. I can easily see a 6-6 season based off that. If we have some defensive guys step up and a go to receiver I can see 7 maybe 8 wins best case scenario.

7-5. I can see the Wazzu game getting ugly, though. They might hang 70 on us considering the state of their offense and our defense.
