Anyone else catch in Holmgren's article that Shy is expecting up to 7-8 new faces this fall? 5 incoming freshmen, a late signee and two walk ons? Chances we land Grandy Glaze and another? Thoughts? Predictions?

Any thoughts on the walk ons and late signee?

The late signee is Glaze if we get him. I haven't heard anything about walk-ons.

I think Glaze is the guy though. Theres only a couple weeks left to sign and Glaze is spending three days in a place where he would get close to 40 minutes a game on an upper echelon MW team.

Sounds like Glaze will visit Wyoming and New Mexico. New Mexico Associate HC Chris Harriman was an assistant at St. Louis when Glaze originally signed there, so they have a connection.

One thing in our favor is that New Mexico already knows who will be their starting PF next year (http://www.golobos.com/ViewArticle....B_OEM_ID=26000&ATCLID=209603077&Q_SEASON=2014) and it won't be Grandy Glaze. He has a legitimate chance of starting for the Pokes (by legitimate, I mean like 90% chance).

There will be one late signee (Glaze or Kupchak most likely) which will fill the 6 scholarship openings (along with Marshall, Moemeka, Naughton, Conway, and James). Then it sounds like there will be 1-2 walk-ons but we probably won't know anything about them until this summer. Just my guess. It seems like we don't usually find out about the walk-ons until they are enrolled at UW.

More along the lines of Tyser/Bentz. Kupchak has offers from UCSB and Nevada. He won't be walking on.

With our log jam of guards I wonder if James plays some PF or if Gorski gets shifted to 2 guard.

With Adams, Conway, Liebermann, Washington, Marshall, and Gorski fighting for minutes expect to see some guys redshirt and eventually transfer.

Gorski & Adams are prime candidates for the 2 / 3.

Washington will play, his RS is gone. Marshall, I think his RS is gone as well. That leaves RS opportunities for Conway (not going to happen) and Liebermann.

Yep. I don't think Conway redshirts. James and Mcmanamen seem like safe bets at Sf. James may play as a stretch 4. If not Gorski is a guard because Mc is going to play Sf. Moemeka is likely to redshirt. The other guys that might are Liebermann, Gorski or Conway, and like you, I don't see Austin not making the two deep.
