Who is this guy ?
Don't know, but from other tweets he's an East Coast guy

Found if from a twitter search for JJ

ok cool. Thanks. Wasn't sure if he was known in the basketball world or something since i hadn't heard of him before but figured maybe some of you other guys had so was just curious. Hope he is right as far as Justin being that good . Hope he doesn't leave early though.

Ditto....it would be a first for Wyoming though....I think. We did have a guy leave early for the NFL, but not sure about NBA.

Man, I hope Justin is as good as advertised.

Dude, if JJ is good enough to leave early I'll freaking take it! If he gets enough national attention to justify leaving early that means we'll probably have some pretty good team success. BUT let's not put the cart before the horse.

Lol yeah if Justin James is good enough to leave early, we are doing some big things.

I am all for that! haha

I'm dropping this article here in case anyone on our team reads this thread. The douchebags in Fort Collins must not know who Josh Adams is even though he's thrown down a half dozen highlight reel dunks on them in the last three seasons.

Both of the Fort Collins writers have a CSU pot drop-out/transfer as newcomer of the year.

Someone needs to remind them we swept their sorry asses last year, knocked them out of the big dance, and have a 39 game lead in the series.

Lay of the greenie you punk ass greenies.

Matt Stephens comment in the comment section is pretty funny.

Here it is:

"Agreement among basketball reporters around the Mountain West is that Josh Adams isn't a first teamer. Great player, yes, but not one of the five best in the league. You're saying a third-team All-MW guy from last season should be ranked ahead of five first- and second-team guys."

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I'm pretty sure my signature sums this one up. Josh isn't only the best player in the MWC but one of the most under rated players I have ever seen. I do remember him making the player of the year look like a fool in the MWC tourney!!!!

The response:

"I would be bitter too if our rival swept us last year and knocked us out of the NCAA tournament, only to suffer an embarassing first round loss in the NIT. When has the MWC media ever been right about anything? Josh is the MWC tournament MVP(ahead of five first team and five second team all-conference guys), but not a first team all-conference guy as a senior? He doesn't have as big of stats because we limit possessions and grind out victories 43-41. Derek Marks got lit up when he faced Adams twice last year, and finished WAY below his season averages with Josh guarding him. The media doesn't acknowledge defense. I guess we'll find out in a couple of weeks. I know Wyoming fans wouldn't trade him for any guard in the MWC."

The one thing this has taught me: Josh needs to be more consistent next year. If he wants the awards(I'm sure he doesn't care about that as much as the team goals) and a better shot at the NBA: he needs to do it on opening night and every night there after. For whatever reason that I don't fully understand, people don't see Josh as a first team guy. To change that and improve his draft stock, he's got to eliminate the lazy passes that plagued him early last season. Jump shot, consistency, and mental focus 40 minutes a game, every game, are Josh's tickets to the NBA. Improving your jump shot takes a lot of hard work for a long time, but those other two things are definitely achievable.

I wouldn't trade josh for any guard in the nation. He could care less about personal stats but, doing what he can, to make his team better means the world to him. I agree he has some things to clean up all players do. He may not be on draft boards all season even if we make it back to the dance but Larry wasn't either. I believe when NBA teams dig a little deeper and see the player us pokes fans already know. They will see the energy and leadership he will bring to the table and a player willing to do anything to make his team better.

Bingo.

Don't get too caught up in preseason hype and the current NBA draft boards. NBA Draft junkies had hardly heard of George Hill, and didn't even have him in mock drafts until 11 days before the draft. The highest DraftExpress ever had him going was 41. He was drafted 26th.

Similar story with Larry. Wasn't put on the DX mock until 10 days before the draft. Never predicted higher than 54th. He went 27th.

Once again, hardly any mention of Josh by draft "experts." He's currently rated by DraftExpress as the 87th-best senior in the country. Yes, you read that right.

I guarantee you, he will TEAR UP the NBA Draft workouts. His athleticism cannot be discounted, and will put him on the radars of NBA teams. You know Larry will put in a good word for him with the Lakers as well. I'm confident he will be drafted, I don't know yet if he'll go as high as Larry, but someone will take him next June.

Lieberman picked up some valuable experience this summer. Also, for depth chart ramifications, Morris Marshall is starting off practice recovering from a concussion. That might put him behind a little bit in a scramble for guard minutes.

Adams is in the Zone....He sure sounds like a senior. You can't break Adams. His interview game is on point.
