Stinks not playing UNM at home. But nice getting to avoid USU in the spectrum. would be the best to not have to play SJSU twice for RPI reasons but only 2 teams get that lucky. Not sure how I feel about the Conference schedule. Need to look closer. Overall our schedule has potential to be better than last year but also could be just as bad. Our cupcakes better not be in the 50 worst teams in basketball like they were last year.

Damn, I wish this conference played a true double round-robin. Missing traditional rival UNM at home is really disappointing. Four straight OT games against the Lobos.

Looking forward to seeing how the young guys respond in OOC play.

Close with the last three games at home and four of last five. Two of those are probably viewed as RPI killers, but I don't think our RPI will come into play for postseason play anyways, so better to enter the conference tournament with momentum.

If we can take care of the OOC this year our RPI will be slightly higher I think but definitely nothing to write home about.

My guess is we probably go 11-3 or 10-4 in the OOC next year.

Never know what will happen in conference.

San Diego St. and Boise St. have to be the two front runners.

UNLV has more young talent than they have ever had but their coaching can't ever get it over the hump.

New Mexico I am not sure about. I am starting to think that Alford was a lot better than Neal will ever be and not sure if New Mexico will be back to form as in years past with Neal coaching them.

CSU and Utah St. who knows.

Nevada will get better under their new coach but not sure it will be in his first year.

The month of February is a pretty rough stretch, thankfully we'll have a whole week off between USU and BSU. It will be interesting to see how this team comes together through the non-conference stretch. I do like the MSU game in Billings, to give the northern Wyoming folks and MT alumni a nearby game, but don't necessarily like doubling up with them again. Playing in Las Cruces will be a tough test too.

Will the game in Billings be at the MSUB gym? Or is there another facility in town?

I assume it will be at the Metra (technically called Rimrock Auto Arena at MetraPark).
Oh duh, I should've remembered that. The Timberwolves played an exhibition game there in 2008.
