Definitely a lot of assumptions I'm curious to see develop soon. We assume the defense will be better, thus counteracting any early growing pains on offense.

(Playing Devil's advocate)

OR....maybe the defense will still suck, Smith's loss is felt big time and the team overall just really stinks. That too, is a possibility. Time will tell what gives or does not give.

Not saying that will happen, only that the assumptions that the O-Line/D-Line's will be better have proven to be bad assumptions in the past.
