I'm also a Cubs fan and believe me it's worse. At least with Wyoming we know it's because we are a small school in a city that's hard to recruit to, and we have stories of the good old days in the 80's and before Black-14 (1969).

The Cubs, they lose with a payroll that is generally near the top in the MLB, play with professional players and not college kids, play in a pretty flashy city with an iconic park and still suck. Oh, and not me, nor my parents, nor my grandparents, nor my great grandparents have stories of any good ole days with the Cubs (Wyoming's NCAA Championship in Basketball is over 35 years more recent than the Cubs last WS). Sheesh, I need to stop, this is bumming me out.

I was 14 the last time Wyoming won a Conference title in football outright....I just turned 40 today! I'll probably hit 90 before we win another conference title at this rate! I miss the good ole days plus the uniforms back then (1987-96) were a lot better too.
