And short of a Big 10 job come calling after a few 8-4 seasons (or something similar), he may be here for awhile, which I won't complain about if he wins consistently. If he moves on to a better job, then that just means he did well here and paved the way for his successor to do well too.
First things first....beat Montana. Glenn and DC never seemed to completely dismantle FCS programs like an FBS program should. Hell, DC even lost to one. Beating the Griz will set the tone for AFA....it would be nice to see Wyoming go 2-0 into Eugene for maybe the scariest game of 2014. Oregon is always borderline-invincible in September. Project "don't let the score more than 50" will be in play.
J-Rod you are mistaken about Glenn not dismantling FCS teams.
2003 vs. Montana State, Wyo won 21-10 (first game ever under Glenn)
2004 vs. Appy State, Wyo won 53-7
Then...Wyo didn't play another FCS team until 2008, Wyo beat North Dakota State and the infamous Coach Bohl 16-13.
So there is only 3 examples to choose from. The NDSU game was a total nail biter.
The Appy State game was a total blowout. And the Montana State game...Wyo just kinda took care of business.
But.. If you want to look at some of the teams like Utah State that Wyo played, those could be looked at as the FCS/Total beat up game.
2007 against USU, Wyo beat them 32-18
2006 against USU, Wyo beat them 38-7
2005 Louisiana Monroe, Wyo beat them 38-0.
So Glenn did take care of business in terms of destroying the teams we should have.
