Kellen Overstreet named a Parade All-American. Looking at the list of winners that's a hell of an accomplishment!

Very nice accomplishment for Kellen. Congrats to him. I'm sure the coaching staff will mention this on the recruiting trail moving forward -------> #BuildingSomethingSpecial

Skylor Clinton (Blue Grey All American 6'3 220. ATHLETE Prescott AZ High school 2015) and Tavita Faaiu (6-3, 225, San Francisco City College and Oregon State de-commit) will be in Laramie this weekend:

You guys ever look at his statistics and think how did Wyoming end up with this guy?

http://sidelinesapp.com/item/are-the-rankings-of-high-school-football-players-really-accurate/ This is sort of an interesting discussion of 5-star HS recruits. I have seen comments lamenting Bohl's lack of 4-5 star HS recruits, but as this article point out to some degree... 5-stars may just mean the individual has reached the pinnacle of his HS peers... i.e. a man among boys. But moving up to FBS does he have potential to achieve the next level or is 5-star HS the top?

Bohl's history is taking HS student with potential to move up to the next level... undersized young men still growing and get them in the training room to grow while molding their football IQs to be studs at the college level Jr-Sr years. Redshirts are his future stars. Taking 3-star HS players and making them 5-star senior year performers with pro-potential.

His recruits rarely/never leave early... many hanging in for a 5th year. 5-star HS most likely expect to play 2-3 years and leave early for the draft. 3-4 star players tend to use all their availability before taking the next step. Brett should have hung around for 1 more year, maybe even 2.

Rarely will a Bohl freshman recruit start. A really good one will be redshirted. So when you are getting excited about the 2015 recruiting class, don't be looking to this coming season. Be focused on 2016 season. A sign of progress will be ... is the practice squad as good as or better than the starters in 2015.

This is a good article on that topic. Those who recruit the highly-ranked kids, win. Bottom line. There is no FBS team winning at a high-level with all no-named, under-recruited prospects.

Unless you are Boise State and then you are the exception and not the rule, According to that article they went 6-2 against 2-5 star schools and they are 1 star. So it can be done it;s just not common.

How many 5 star athletes playing in the Super Bowl? ........ Zero ... just a bunch of overachieving 2-4 stars

Point is you don't need a class of 5 star HS'ers to be a winning program.

Justice Murphy is a very good get. His offers from Utah, Washington State, and Oregon State dried up late, but this is a very good get.

What a bizarre class. If I'm being honest, there are a few recruits I REALLY like, and several that make me cringe. That will make for an interesting group.

According to rivals, we got a recruit with TCU offer and another with Boise Offer
Again, I'd take all that with a grain of salt. Offers are drying up everywhere this time of year.
