I agree. I think a top 10 finish in this tournament would allow the Pokes to finish ahead of a couple ranked programs. Very tough field, so a top 10 finish isn't bad at all.

Keep it up, Pokes. McCulley just killed a ranked opponent. Looks like he is finally settling into his new weight.
 
Keep it rolling Pokes! A top-10 finish in this tournament would be huge. Great improvement from early season. We have also suffered some close losses to some higher ranked wrestlers. If the improvement can continue, those may turn around to "Ws" in 4-6wks.

The Pokes are currently ahead of two ranked teams (InterMat) in the Scuffle: Virginia (#16) and Iowa State (#19). Pokes are currently ranked #21 in dual meets. Next rankings update is out on 1/6/15.
 
Any idea if they are going to stream any of it? I know sometimes these larger events get streamed but haven't heard much for this one and can't find anything but live scoring.

edit - Found some streaming but not going to pay $20 a month for one event.

McCulley Leads Cowboys To Top-10 Scuffle Finish
Senior places fifth in tough 174-pound field

"When you look at this field, it is probably the closest tournament to the NCAA Championships that you can get in the regular season, with the overall skill and the atmosphere," UW head coach Mark Branch said. "It truly was a very tough tournament. All those guys who came through and medaled had really good moments. There's no doubt our participation in this will make us a better team.

"Even placing ninth, I think we left a lot of points on the table and it exposed some areas that we have to rapidly improve in. It's a good measuring point for us. We definitely have to get better. But looking at the teams we competed against and which ones placed ahead and behind us, it was an admirable effort."

I have to say, it's great to see Wyoming clean up on some of our regional rivals who have owned us recently on the football field....smurf turfers....

One of the best performances I have seen, If it weren't for Rauser getting that extremely late take down it was a flawless meet.
