Above is an email for Roy Harvey at EA Sports. We need to give him all the suggestions to fix the problems with the University of Wyoming on the game. Here is part of what he posted on his blog

...In closing, on behalf of the team I’d like to thank all the fans who’ve written in with suggestions and comments. While we can’t possibly get to the thousands of ideas that have come in, we do take your feedback very seriously when designing the game and work to get as much in as time and resources will allow. From big ideas to the little things like dreads, bowl patches, band placement, uniform details, and mascot changes – everything contributes to realism and authenticity – and they all came from you. So please keep the cards and letters coming…

Keep the faith, real news is up ahead!

PS -- You can still email me at [email protected]. As mentioned previously, given the incredible amount of email I get daily, I don’t always have time to reply, but I do promise I’ll read everything you send. Please keep it civil and spam free

I have sent an email with some of the ideas that I would like to see fixed including the following:
1.Stadium Upgrades (Wildcatter suites & turf color)
2. Names on Jerseys
3. Pistol Pete
4. Alternate Jerseys
5. Stadium Entrance
6. Rivals (Not Utah State but BYU & CSU)

Feel free to add your own comments and send them in the more they get the more likely they are to fix some of this stuff.

They'll certainly be getting an email from me. I've been writing to them for years to try to get the game fixed, but they keep screwing it up. Maybe if enough of us write in they will finally get the picture. (Speaking of pictures, it wouldn't hurt to include pictures in the email.)

I agree, I hate playing and Wyoming looking like a d3 stadium who appears out of an open end of the stadium! I haven't played in a couple of years, but I can see where they are coming from, Wyoming isn't a huge market to try and make happy.

Well, they had our entrance from the last game they put out as the Pokes coming out from underneath the stands. Which is physically impossible.

Here's the letter I sent. The links didn't copy over, but you get the idea:

To Whom It May Concern:

The EA Sports NCAA Football game is a must buy for me yearly. College football is a passion of mine, and the game does a good job of embodying the spirit and competition in the college football world. However, the game has been wrought with inaccuracies for my school (University of Wyoming) for the last several years. A list of problems and fixes (with pictures) is below.

Wyoming's uniforms have name plates on the back of the jerseys. In the game the Cowboys have been name-on-back free for several years.

War Memorial Stadium has been upgraded to include luxury suites. Also, the field is brown and gold, not brown and white.
Wildcatter luxury suites, Luxury suites and field

For the 2010 season Wyoming and Nike added a Pro Combat uniform. These are all the uniform configurations that Wyoming used last season. Note that brown over white was never worn.
Brown over brown, White over brown, Brown over gold (standard home uniform), White over gold, White over white (standard away uniform)
Pro Combat helmet, jersey, and pants, Pro Combat uniform view 2

Wyoming's mascot Pistol Pete has not made it into the game yet.

The team enters the stadium by running out from under the north scoreboard onto the field. Every player touches the statue on their way onto the field. They are led by the mascot and cheerleaders, and the band forms up to make a tunnel. (Note: the endzone stands in the example video were temporary stands put in specifically for that game. They are not a permanent fixture.)
Example 1, Example 2, Example 3 (video)

Lastly (and most importantly) Utah State has never been a rival to the University of Wyoming. Wyoming's rivals have always been Colorado State and BYU.

I know that Wyoming isn't a big name team, but our fanbase is very devoted and proud. You would make thousands of people happy by correcting these issues.

Thank you for your time

Wasn't Pistol Pete in some of the older games? Like 2005 or something?
He was. When they made the transition to the high def consoles they took a big step back with the features in the game. They're just now getting back to where they were 6 years ago. Lack of competition is breeding mediocrity.

To true.

Good luck with that. The EA guys have been putting out a shit product for years. There are so many problems with those college football games. They've yet to fix problems. They just want your money for a piece of shit game. I don't care about dreads. That's ridiculous to worry about dreads. I suppose someone will complain that his bulge isn't big enough in the video game. Maybe they should put blood, tears and vomit in the game too. I'd put those EA guys to work. I used to have a lot of ideas for the game. I suppose I still do but have no interest in writing them because they have not been truly serious enough (unless they've just recently got someone new that really wants to fix the game's problems). To me, EA sports over the last few years are more like cock teasers (no real action).

FWIW I emailed them something similar. If the issues haven't been fixed by this time, they probably won't be fixed by the release of the game though.

someone might want to point out where the snowy ridge mountains are (i don't know). then let them know we are near the snowy range mountains.
