1987 Holiday Bowl Game

I wasn't very old when this game was played, and living in Wyoming in 1987 I sure as hell didn't get ESPN. I stumbled up on this video on youtube and thought it was a kick:

Too bad I couldn't have seen it live the first time around. Lesson learned, just go for it don't punt the ball!
 
I remember us getting picked in the endzone late in the game. It happened right in front of me. Man, we had that sucker in our grasp.
 
That was a horrible loss...

I had some real good friends on the team, spent many a nights hanging out with them.
 
Tough loss, but I think we'd all give a lot to be in that position again...

Is there anything that can change a football game more than a blocked punt? Major psyche shot.
 
I remember being in grade school watching this game and being depressed that we lost because it felt like we just gave that game away. A blocked punt and a interception return for a touchdown we gave up. We controlled that game.
