Well so far it looks like the Pokes defense came to play. But I see they're still in love with the damn 3 pointer what are they 2-11 from behind the arc. But at least the Asstecs are 0 for the game. Up 20-6 though with 4:30 left in the first half, I'm not complaining too much!
 
20-9 at half time! Wow! What a defensive performance, let's hope the Pokes can hang on in the 2nd half and come away with a HUGE win! They really need it, that's for damn sure.
 
Sucks that no one is streaming it.

Awesome defensive effort, but damn, we need to get some offense going besides last second 3s.

No doubt! Is SDSU packing the paint to keep Washington and Nance in check? If not there's no excuse for chucking up a bad shot 3 at the end of the shot clock.

SDSU 4 FG made, 0-8 on 3-pointers, 1-1 FT and shooting 17% from the field, sad thing is the Pokes aren't doing much better. Must be one ugly game going on in Laramie tonight.
 
Neither team is playing good Bastketball, UW is at least playing some solid defense. Rebounds are pretty even and both teams are 100% from the charity stripe. Cowboys with less turnovers and more assists.

Problem with a game like this is if SDSU gets hot from anywhere this small lead will vanish. We need to start taking it low and quit putting up 3's I really wish they would only shoot the 3 if they were sure about their shot.

I was thinking the same thing. I know the defense will continue to be strong, but I doubt if SDSU will shoot this poorly for the rest of the game--they're too good of a team not to start knocking some shots down sooner or later. Hopefully the Pokes can shorten the game and, like you said, pound it down low.
 
SDSU already making a come back need to slow the game down pound it down low take the entire shot clock and wear the team out.

1:37 left Pokes up 13! Knock down the FT's and lets send the Asstecs back home with another conference loss!

It's been too long since I've heard Dave Walsh. Nice work defending your home court Pokes. 14/26 from inside the arc, but 4/16 outside of the arc. Someone tell the Pokes to take a step or two in next time before launching their shot!
