Our players have a different intensity about them tonight. This doesn’t even look like the same team we’ve seen in the first seven games of the season.

How much of it is due to the OC change? How much of it is due to this game being a rivalry game? How much of it is CSU just being a really bad football team? I don’t know, but I’m hoping this level intensity can remain for the rest of the season.

Cowboys look to me to be more intensive, and Javon is mixing the plays well. I especially like the role Sims is playing. And oh yes, CSU sucks.
 
Without the transfer portal our freshman running backs could turn into some awesome backs by their jr/sr years! Harris/Kellman have been looking good - too bad we may only get one more year from them, if that.
 
Listened to 1st half driving up to Casper and it sounded good to me. I think Jovon had them dialed in and the kids wanted the boot back!! Good job Pokes and like always IT SUX TO BE A CSU RAM!!!

Here is another post on ewenation……..this is why I despise them. They get blown out and still think they should be in a better conference…..and I ask again why…….

“Overall, it sucks losing The Boot, but the guys were put in a bad situation that will be significantly better when Wyo comes to Fort Collins in September. Wyo fans will talk shit, and they should because tbh they really have nothing to look forward to. They are stuck in a crappy MWC, with a crap TV deal, with no aspirations or likelihood of achieving something great. Oh and they have to do all that in Laramie Wyoming. We have made decisions that that isn't good enough for CSU. Here is The Boot, Wyo. Don't get too used to it. You are a team that last week lost to the worst team in the MWC. We are dedicated to investing in taking it back and having that be the minimum expectation, not our Super Bowl”.

It's galling to hear this from our rival for sure...but why do we advocate having this same attitude? I have read countless comments .... and even penned a few that rhyme with this calling for Wyoming to invest heavily in our program.
