Incorrect my friend. You must be the highest ranked, BUT...you have to be a conference champion to eligible. Exact reason Boise State's 2011 team didn't go to the Sugar Bowl. CSU does not control their destiny. Their hopes rest on Boise State screwing up.Wyo2dal said:BSU doesn't have to drop a game for CSU to get that bid. Highest G5 ranking has nothing to do with conference wins and loses it has to do with the CFP ranking system and CSU already has a lead from it's P5 wins. CSU could lose out on a MWC title and still get that bid.

You still have to be conference champ to have a shot at it.Wyo2dal said:J-Rod said:Incorrect my friend. You must be the highest ranked, BUT...you have to be a conference champion to eligible. You're talking about BCS rules back in 2011 have nothing to do with the new CFP system. I'll double check the CFP Website but I'm pretty sure being a champion wasn't a requirement.

Sounds like a win-win. Beating Boise would be nothing but good for the program, but even if UW loses...they stick it to CSU in the process. Can't lose.Wyo2dal said:It's like do we let Boise go or Colorado State what a shitty choice to be forced into. Get that first Boise win and let the Sheep go play for a title or fall to Boise and let them have another year up top.
