Granted, it was against FCS schools (one of which will be in the WAC next year), but still, a HUGE improvement over years past. DC has done a great job recruiting and getting a great offensive coordinator in Greg Brandon. Still not completely sold on English. If English does well next week, and we don't get into a shootout, than I'll have confidence for the rest of the season. Offense, well, I think the last two weeks speak for themselves, and the above stats as well.

Improvement? Absolutely. Even surprising, considering they sudden loss of ACS.

Whether you were a kool-aid drinking fan or a bitter beer fan, we all agreed the BGSU and USU games would define this season. You can't dismiss nor glorify the results from these FCS games, but its a definite positive going into Ohio.
