10 spots left

In my opinion, Brett has 10 spots left in this draft to be taken. Any pick that is held by the Steelers, Cowboys, Broncos or Saints is a chance for Brett.

Agreed. There could be a WTF move made by someone else, but these are good guesses.

Nothing about Tampa?
They don't have a decent QB on their roster, and have drafted only offensive players.
And there was the rumor that Tedford liked Brett.

Sure, throw em in there. Of course the only problem with that could be that they are out of picks. :coffee:

False.
Round 7. Pick 6.

Round 7, pick 6 belongs to Buffalo via trade according to CBS. No Tampa pick to be seen.

They could be incorrect, of course.

Could be, The bucs have one pick left(per espn) and the saints used their last pick on an OT.

Looking at ESPN draft tracker board earlier today they had Brett listed as like the 10th best available QB at the time but now when I click on it there are only 4 QB's listed and he isn't listed on there anymore. So does that mean ESPN is only thinking 4 more QB's at the most get taken and Brett isn't going to be one of them?

Looks like they have Connor Shaw, Taj Boyd, Stephen Morris and Garrett Gilbert are listed as the only best QB's available now.

Brett could still get taken but honestly it doesn't look very good right now.

ESPN says Houston drafted a long snapper from Oregon, CBS says they drafted a CB from Vandy.

Somebody is waaaaay off.

I'm pretty sure it's the CB from Vandy I'm watching the draft right now

I feel bad for Smith. I don't think he had a very good jr. year and playing a year in a pro style offense or non spread could have really upped his draft stock. He obviously got some bad advice about his draft prospects.

Having said that, these pro draft gurus have been wrong more than they are right. It seems like there are more busts like Ryan Leaf while guys like Tom Brady and Tony Romo are afterthoughts. But the odds of Smith making a team as an undrafted free agent are probably very slim. I hope I'm wrong.

Yup, there is no such thing as a draft guru and regardless of how good a scout is, they are still just guessing.

I don't necessarily like Kiper, but he is pretty damn good at predicting who gets drafted where though.
