10-19 Cal Poly

Cal Poly finished the regular season 10-19, won 3 games in the Big West Tourney to win it, and won the play-in game today.
They are now 14-19 and are playing Witchita State in the 1 vs. 16 matchup.

America supports an under-dog, but do we support the ugly under-dog?

Butler, VCU, and Witchita State were at least good when they made their Big Dance runs.

Cal Poly is just straight up BAD.

The only way Cal Poly ends the season with a winning record this season is if they win the National Championship, they would be 20-19.

Go Cal Poly, be the first 16 seed to beat a 1!

Wichita State isn't a special team they had a mediocre at best schedule all year long. Now I look back to when we we're 13-0 and played a stronger schedule we beat #19 CU to get there we didn't get top #25 votes until 13-0. Wichita was #10 in the Nation at 13-0 so I ask you do they deserve to be #2?

I hope Cal Poly beats them.

Wyoming never would have gotten #2 in the nation going undefeated.
 
It sure sucks that fucking Cal-Poly has a better football program and now basketball program than the underachieving Wyoming Cowboys.

#2? No. Top 25? A distinct possibility with facing Ohio State, CU, and SMU.

+1. The 68 teams that make the NCAA tourney are NOT the best 68 teams available.

And football, they were better than us one day, very much doubt that'd happen all too often.

Yep, they beat us head to head in football thats a fact. They are in the big dance and we are getting are ass kick in some no named tournament by some shitty team . Thats a fact. I guess Wyoming is cal-polys bitch. Sad but true.

The Shockers begin their quest to shock the world in the NCAA's, I'm sure rooting for them big time, i think they probably shoulda lost a game just to get that outta their system b4 the tourney's started, time will tell

Is it possible for a #1 seed to shock the world?

Either they flame out and make everyone right about their weak schedule or they do really well like they are supposed to because they are a favorite.
 
I'm always fine with rooting for a mid major, especially when the had a season to cheer about like WSU. Besides who was the last mid major to get a one seed?
 
I definitely want Cal Poly. I don't like Witchita State, mostly because I think they are over-hyped.
I think they played a juco schedule and would have been rocked in the MWC.
Nothing would make the anti-Witchita State crowd happier than watching #16 14-19 Cal Poly beat them lol.

I think that's probably pretty good considering they probably had like 1% odds of winning their conference tourney.
