Can the pokes pull the upset on the Illini? any word the QB starter, how is he looking? Can he complete a 5 yard out pattern? I hear good things
about DQ, Hopefully our OC updated his playbook to this century and we can find a way to use him. Its football season!!

Seeing WYO +10, U/O at 44 right now. That exceeds my expectations...I thought it would be WYO +20.5, U/O around 50.

Both WYO and Illinois have similar questions to answer in this game.
Bret Bielema, Illinois head coach, will have his guys ready to play. Bohl may be optimistic, but Bohl is still Bohl...I've stopped drinking his Kool-Aid.
Barry Lunney,Jr., Illinois new offensive coordinator, is the real deal. He will out scheme Bohl's game plan.
As a WYO alum I hate to say this Illinois 34, WYO 17.
Time for Bohl to ride off into the sunset.

If our D out scores our offense, this could be a very long season. Swen will be a Mack truck, just hope we aren’t so vanilla that they stacked the box and dare us to hurt them. They likely will, but a few play action passes hopefully are in the cards

Yeah. My sportsbook has the same numbers. On the road with a new qb against a big 10 team. The number seems low. We are like +350 on the moneyline so if you think we will win outright, there's your bet. I'm looking forward to watching some football. My one wish: that our 1st possession does not go run, run, pass. I know that's asking a lot because Bohl has this unnamed punter whose going to be our new secret weapon. On second thought, forget that moneyline bet.

Bohl's home run play has always been a dive up the 2 hole... We've had 80 yard runs up the gut with some sort of regularity, so if we really need something fast he seems to pray for our tailback to break one

Crazy line to me. Ill give the 10 points and walk away pleasantly surprised if we keep it within single digits.

No idea what to expect here, but I'll be in Champaign for this one. Have some friends that live in Chicago and going to make a nice long weekend out of it.

Can Peasley get the ball to the wideouts and TE's? Maybe we'll see something other than three straight hand offs up the gut. Gotta be something to be optimistic about right?

Seeing the Pokes +10 is very surprising.

Illinois is one of the teams that should be kicked out of the P5. The road game aspect is probably worth 10 by itself but we won 3 road games last year so maybe it’s more like 6. I for one am not thinking they are some sort of Goliath we can’t beat. The numbers say we probably won’t win.

We’ve shown that we can run on just about anyone so can we finish drives with TDs and not FGs? I think that depends on completing those 15 passes. We should start game, run, play action and then draw or delayed handoff if it’s 3rd and long just to let them know we’re not going to be predictable even if we are. I too don’t want to see run, run, pass and punt first series. I think it’ll put Peasley in a bad spot if he’s throwing his first pass when it’s 3rd and 8. Honestly, I’d rather see pass, run, and run again if it’s 3rd and long and punt instead of run, run, pass. You’re still running 2 out of 3 but your pass is on non passing down, and your runs are on non typical running downs.

I know there historically were some folks that would hang out on other school's message boards. Anyone checked out Illinois lately? Nothing too exciting over there, typical "we'll roll them by 20+" or "Bielema well get up by 2 scores and control clock the rest of the game."

Like someone mentioned before, Illinois certainly isn't a monolith in the B1G. Do we win, eh, cover, I think we can.
