Wyoming Gives up Home Game to Travel to CSU for 2026 Opener

2029 looks to have 7 homes games (surely Burman can fuck that up again)

Season ticket holders get rewarded seeing: Uconn, Northern Colorado, Southern Utah, Central Michigan, Akron, and Idaho State the next three years. That will surely spike ticket sales. Pathetic!
When viewed in this lens, North Texas was our best out of conference home game by far over the next 3 years. We just gave it away to go play at CSU. I have to think long and hard as to whether I want to give up my first row season tickets because they really have no value with the upcoming schedules and I can just go on SeatGeek and get cheap tickets day of as everyone tries to sell the unsalable.

This rings especially true with the new garbage makeup of the Mountain West starting next year. I don’t think I will even be able to give away some tickets.

Why waste the money to continue to support ineptitude and give ineptitude raises and extensions?

Would you all feel better if there was no Border War next year?
Yes. Is this a real question as to whether I’d rather a season ticket include a Sep 5 home date against an interesting opponent or rather not have a home game, have a season ticket cover less games, all in order to accommodate the team leaving us behind in a shitty MWC and suing us ? We are literally giving up our best home game over the next 3 years and going from 7 to 6 homes games so csu can avoid being curb stomped by Indiana and can go from 6 to 7 home games. The obvious answer was that csu should be traveling to Wyoming next year if it wanted the swap.

So - Are you asking a serious question?!? Because I personally don’t even see how it is remotely debatable.

You have that great non-conference basketball schedule too look forward to this year as well. AND next year's home conference football schedule will "likely" not have UNLV and AFA as they are home games this year. So likely Hawaii, UTEP, San Jose, Nevada or Northern Illinois. THat should just about drop fan enthusiasm to new low levels. Just amazing that the athletic director is getting $551k a year when these are the teams they are playing. Thank god we got those stadium upgrades and the new WIldcatter Suites for these home games.

North Texas is a better team. We are going above and beyond to accommodate the team that left us behind (potentially to be left for CUSA) and turned around and sued us. I am sorry but let us roll out the white flag and announce to the world that CSU is our master.
Agree 💯 percent. They are top of my list as the Pac-stabbers.

Chalk another one up to the complete failure - named Tom Burman! Really starting to dislike that guy. I feel like the BYU game and now this, he’s just trying to poke me in the eye and then spit in my face……..
