Coach Sawvel notes

- mentioned that this year will be the most freshmen will play at UW since he has been here

- physical practices

- no players from last years team in camps; need to develop and retain that talent to be successful

- 730 Thursday open practice

- Mentions he loves the fans

- Made a good joke about his tie color. He had a Wyoming State tie

Interesting..."most freshmen" in (his 5 years). Not saying a whole lot, other than maybe NIL emptied the cupboards a bit? Is it a concern though? Probably not. Then again, he stuck with his guy at QB for 8 games too many last year - like a stubborn prick of a coach. Ya, I am still wondering WTF that was about.

I remember the last time we had a record number of freshmen playing. It was either Bohls 1st or 2nd year. I think maybe 2nd year. didn't turn out well

I think 3 have been mentioned as will be playing this year. a FR on the DL will probably have to play. With the new RS rules it is probably Apples to Oranges to compare this year to that 2015 though I get where you are coming from
