Win at UNLV and at UTEP it would setup the UNM game for the title (assuming UNM doesn’t fold).

If not for the AFA QB going down, last night's game results would have been different. However, let's take the win and now lament about lost games vs CSU and CMU?
3 turnovers and the QB getting hurt disguised a lot of problems. Tackling was really poor and our offensive line was being dominated. While I waned the Cowboys to win, a part of me felt like it just meant Sawvel willl likely be the coach next season as well and Burman would not go away.

They scored 1 TD. Last week, they scored 41 against UNLV. Even in the 3d quarter when they scored, we made them work for it. Was it perfect? Not even close. But at least we weren't the team turning the ball over. And we got a td every time we were in the red zone.
we turned a corner. Unlv and New Mexico will be tough. Even utep on the road could be a loss. A 7 win season is a good step. The offense is starting to gel. We should have a chance in every game going forward. Good job sawvel and taylor. Lets just win out and go to the championship game. Lets be positive and just enjoy a already good season after a really bad start
