when we talk about coaching, are we talking about Xs and Os with Sawvel or do you think it's more culture and discipline? I actually feel like our O probably is a better X and O system and scheme than Bohl, defense is the same. The talent isn't probably markedly higher or lower. It feels like its mostly a discipline and culture that surrounds this team under Sawvel. Getting people focused and maximum effort is a big part of head coach. Williams' unsportsmanslike conduct penalty probably makes a different impression on you if we had a disciplined team to begin with?

I see it as Scheme and philosophy go hand in hand. Bohl’s scheme and philosophy was to limit mistakes and turnovers which is why we had the offense we had. Keep the game close, don’t give the other team easy points pull it out late.

The team now wildly lacks discipline. We have no obvious philosophy but do have names on jerseys. A sea change from just a few years ago under Bohl.
