Our strength of schedule was helped by Northern Colorado beating Northeastern St. ( I couldn't tell you what state their in) in overtime yesterday. I'll say this for Sawvel: He makes every team we play look like world beaters.

Side note - Tahlequah is located in the Cherokee Nation area. It’s a beautiful area and located close to at least 3 big lakes. Not too far east of Tulsa.

The Cherokee Nation has a great outdoor play based the actual Trail of Tears. It's a great play to go watch.

As sorry as this team is from top to bottom, one has to wonder who on the team would be the interim HC should Sawful get fired, as most of us would agree is the prudent decision? From what I’ve seen, there is not one positive aspect to hang a hat on and say, “Yes, this guy could create a spark and help the team limp through the rest of the season.”

I don't think it really matters. The unfortunate truth is that this is a wasted season. This is a really bad football team playing atrocious football. If we fire Sawvel (we should), this football team will basically be entirely new next year anyways. I'd expect at least 75% roster turnover.

Heck, let the players coach themselves. It would be an interesting experiment never before done in college football! In all seriousness, I truly don't given one rat's ass who they name as interim coach as long as Sawvel is gone.
