•Lightening Delay Wins The Game

That's all. Can't say much else, especially the $10 beers...so much tougher to drown my sorrows at that price point. Not really, but come on, this isn't Empower Field FFS.

We played like CRAP once again. The game was boring and non engaging for the fans. They played dumb DJ radio songs instead of listening to the band play. And again, no W-Y-O call and response cheer.

Really it was an F from the athletics department

My first in person game in Laramie in a long time. Only attended because my daughter was visiting the university the day prior. I highly considered not attending the game because I dislike Sawvel so much.

I was very disappointed in the game day atmosphere. Not nearly as much energy as I remember when I was last there in 2008.

No W-Y-O cheers. No Powder River, Let’r Buck call and response. Just a very generic low energy game day experience overall. I’ve been at a lot of high school football games here in Texas with more energy and a better atmosphere.

I did a lot of booing during the game. This seemed to piss off a lot of the fans around me who were convinced we were struggling because ‘the refs are on their side’. There was one guy near us all by himself who would occasionally stand up and yell, ‘Quit sucking! You guys are terrible’. This also pissed off a lot of fans around us.

The one single positive was I got to tell Sawvel exactly what I thought of him as the team came back on the field after the lightning delay. He wouldn’t even look at me but I know he heard me.

Got to love the delusional fans....i'm convinced that describes between 70 and 90 percent of any fan base. I aknowledge when a penalty goes against my team if it's the right call but so many people just don't seem to have that understanding...and this is not just in Laramie. I've been to many stadiums sitting next to other fan bases...it's hilarious the stuff you hear.
