Cheap Shot to CSU fan

This did make me laugh...wow is Sawful a fish out of water. Own it and move on.

Sawvel also addressed an incident that occurred postgame in Fort Collins. Defensive tackle Jayden Williams was seen knocking two fans who rushed the field to the turf as he made his way to the visiting locker room.

A video later surfaced on social media documenting the incident. “I’ve seen the Jayden video, been made aware of it and watched it a couple different times. It’s been addressed and will be addressed further in-house,” Sawvel said. “Obviously, we don’t condone that with players to fans or anything from that standpoint. That will be something that we address team-wide, as well. That’s not the way we’re going to operate.

“Jayden is a guy that has a goal of being a professional football player, and there’s a way to handle ourselves and there’s a professional way to do it in those situations. As far as fans on the field, it’s part of college football. That’s a big piece to it.”

Sawvel was also asked if the incident was an example of the dangers of fans rushing the field while players are still present.

“I do think that, sometimes in the world we’re in, people feel like they have a license to be able to say whatever or do whatever or approach whatever, and there’s a lot of things that are said in those situations that aren’t necessarily very pleasant,” Sawvel said. “So, I think that’s an issue.

“… We have a lot of fans that rush our field, too. It’s not like we’re guiltless in anything in college football, but our sideline and visiting locker room are on the same side. There’s no crossing the field, and we had to cross the field (at CSU). There’s an option there that you don’t have to if they put us on the other sideline and we could come right out of our tunnel and we’d be right back in our tunnel and never have to cross fans.

“Look, we’re not condoning it, but I do think in college football, the more you have people on fields, I think it’s smart to take a look at what’s the layout that you’re asking the visiting team to get back to the locker room.”

Come on man. Take off the brown and gold glasses. This behavior isn’t defensible.

Too bad we didn’t see that aggression on the field. Maybe the Rams wouldn’t have ran it down our throats in the 4th quarter. But Mr Tough Guy wants to lay out some 150 pound students.

Williams made some bad decisions. What provoked those bad decisions again? Besides getting your ass kicked by your rival? The CSewe fans were baked off their asses, and said some nasty racist shit. Or did they? I didn't see 100% of any of this. Nobody did, especially in the CSewe videos of course. LMAO.

I didn't see what happened before the video started either.

There’s another video of that. As the cowboys are leaving the field together as a team from the sideline, Williams walks in a different direction separate from all his teammates and appears to kick at a csu fan before laying the first fan out. The last fan Williams lays out might be a girl.

If something provoked him to physically assault multiple people, then he better get to saying it. This is gaining attention as more videos come out and Sawvel is going to have no choice but to dismiss him or the entire university is going to face backlash.

The law is pretty clear on this - the use of physical force is only justified when there is a threat to one's physical well being, and in some states, to protect your property. Someone yelling "you suck, pussy" is not enough to justify decking somebody, at least in the eyes of the law.

I have a hard time getting excited about this. He shouldn't have done it. That said, he just shoved a few people. No one was hurt. Had he punched someone, that's different. Suspend him for a quarter. But fans shouldn't be running onto the field. I've never done it. The field is for players, not drunken idiots acting like 3 year olds.

Love how we have WYO fans pumping sunshine at Barstool CSewe. Yes, you all are buying into Barstool CSewe, and believing it as the gospel. Unreal. When does Barstool Wyoming start putting out redacted video as well? WTF.

Why does he have to say it? This isn't court. This is social media, and you all are buying into CSewe's social media shit like I would have never expected.

He doesn't have to say anything. But if it becomes a distraction for the team and Sawvel tells him to kick rocks, he should stay quiet then too.
