Fire tom Burman tomorrow

Plagiaries anything you want from my email to Prez Reeves. Stuff his inbox with the dissatisfaction of Poke Nation. He stated that athletics was going to be a priority. Time to put up or resign.....

Burman is the one who gave away a home game against a quality opponent to allow csu to escape an ass whooping at Indiana. He also gave csu the game for free and allowed csu/PAC to have the media rights to the game so the pac could debut its new league on USA with an ass kicking of Wyoming.

I saw that foolishness as a (final) act of defiance. Burman said he doesn't like 7 home games in a year. Idiot!!

I would have been in Laramie yesterday for the UNT game with 11 family members making it a family reunion event. Instead I might not attend any game in Laramie in defiance of Burman and Sawful.

I cannot begin to tell you how much more I am pissed off about this, after the awesome showing.

Which is total bullshit. What AD in the world wouldn't want game income? Fucking idiot!

Just goes to show, how it has always been. The guy is lazy and doesn't know how to work hard.

I'm going to disagree with you here.

Tom Burman is not lazy. He is a hard worker and he genuinely wants Wyoming to succeed. Being an AD at a D1 school is a difficult job. His failings are not a product of poor work ethic or lack of desire. His failings are simply a result of limited ability.

And I don't mean that in a mean way. You can be a really smart, really talented individual and still fail at a position, especially when you get to the very highest of levels. There is no shame in that.

That is fine, we can disagree, not a huge deal. However, I have yet to see the guy work "hard" in 20 years. Let alone working "smart". I have a bit of an inside track on this, and have watched from afar, as the work effort was in the 25% range compared to his predecessor.

I agree the AD job is a challenge. I agree that Burman’s intentions were meant to produce the best results.

I have to say that when Burman hired Jeremy’s buddy Edwards because his daddy hired and then recommended him as the best option for the HC - it was a lazy effort to look out for the enhancement of the basketball program and instead doing the bidding of someone deemed to be of significant stature as in the former head coach.

The similar process was utilized with the football hiring of Sawful. Keep as much in house intact like the selection of the DC and the Bohl 6-6 legacy would continue in perpetuity because it would keep the program stable.

That’s two major hires that contain a sniff of nepotism included in the process with backfire written all over. And those hires have not saved Wyoming anything financially or enhanced the programs reputation as successful. If anything, these two hires have set the programs back and cost Wyoming financially all the while the AD negotiated very generous contracts for himself.

If routinely finishing 6-10th in a conference of 12 teams is considered an achievement then Burman has produced at an immense level of excellence and I would withdraw my criticisms.
