If there was a way to say that I really really really really really really really don't care about this game and have lost all enthusiasm for the Pokes. Add 100 more "reallies" and you might get to where I am. I've had season tickets since 2002 and this is the lowest I have ever been on the Pokes. BS conference. BS team. BS AD. BS schedule. A loss to CSU used to leave me upset for a week. I was over it in 5 minutes and DIDN'T watch a snap. I checked the score on my phone, shrugged my shoulders and went on with life. I sort of agree with Lander - let's lose and start over.

Losing to UNC and going winless could theoretically give Burman another shot at hiring a head football coach. That’s the worst result.
Just get our 3-4 wins this year (against terrible competition), get the new AD in place and start all over sometime next season. Only realistic approach I see.

I get the sentiments, I really do. But I never want WYO to lose. Ever. It is inevitable, Burman will not be renewed in 2027 and fade into the sunset with millions of Wyoming dollars. Likely the same for Sawful, however, he didn't hire himself. This shit show is 100% on the AD and his 20 years of poor leadership, lack of vision, and no work ethic.
I'm traumatized by the past 30 years and don't trust that anyone at UW ever just fades into the sunset. They usually leave a flaming pile of dog crap on our front porch as they leave and we retool with similar, terrible leadership. I have hope for the new President - but that bunch at UW could screw up a anvil with a rubber mallet. I understand that a loss to UNC won't change that - but it would sure put a bright yellow highlight on the fact that our AD and Sawful have got to go.

Sadly, I don't think anything short of another pool table incident will change things up this year. I honestly believe we could lose them all and the only thing the Adm. will look at is how many tickets did we sell.

I think our new Prez already knows this. Hopefully the fanbase does as well (sans of course the good 'ol boys who are only there for the cocktail party).
And I hope he allows his new AD to clean house. There are a few stars, like 2 or 3, but outside of that...bye bye small time thinkers!
