3rd and 4th Quarter Tradition

It has to be.

But they’ll fuck this up too.
I would say 0% chance of this happening.

At any given game, I'd bet at least half of the fans don't even know the song. Also, what exactly are fans supposed to do during the song? Headbang?

A lot of people are overthinking this. If you are looking for the most fan engagement, just pick a song that most people know and/or a song that has a specific action associated with it. It doesn't even have to be related to Cowboys. It's really that simple.

I was a teen in the 90's, so Pantera was a big part of my life, but I just don't imagine that is going to get much crowd involvement. If you are looking for 5% of the crowd to play the air guitar while everyone else stands around thinking "what is this thrash metal shit they are playing?", then Cowboys From Hell is the perfect song.

We mentioned it in the Pod last night. The song MUST transcend genres! Bryan mentioned that licensing for Garth Brooks sucks so just assume Friends in Low Places is out.

Free Bird by Moonlight could bridge the gap to the metal heads
