Poinsettia Bowl is back

And a quarter of the players on both teams will opt to sit out because they don’t want to hurt their transfer stock by getting injured in a meaningless game.

It will be a good excuse to go to San Diego, but the game itself will be an exhibition at best. Are people still making money off of these bowl games that no one seems to care about? I guess so or they wouldn’t still exist.

All for it, if there is revenue sharing. The more money in the coffers, the more likelihood of retaining players for continuity.

I don’t think Wyoming will be a bowl team next season but can get money through conference revenue shares.

They likely have San Diego St penciled in as one of the teams.

College football is the big guys now at besr. I wonder what we are playing for? Beating UTEP, Missouri State or UCDavis. Wow and we could lose a couple of those and going on the road to CMU or equivalent. This may be my 2nd year in a row to miss a game. I hadn't missed a game during a season since 1969. What station has the game?

Talk that it could match the MWC v PAC champions. If this whole split ends up in the 2 conferences’ best teams playing each other in the postseason, what an utter failure and the future is very very bleak for both conferences.

Wyoming v Utah State in a bowl game. Yea - no thanks. We’ve seen that matchup plenty.

The blowhards who boasted loudly they were on the verge of being the next P5 conference are definitely “p” quality as in “pee” down their pants leg that they paid (or will) huge amounts of cash to compete with the inferiority they tried to separate from.

As much as I want to laugh it only leaves a bad taste thinking about it. What is next - the spud bowl with second/third place matchups.
