I had to watch from the MW website on the TV or phone. The Roku app didn’t work and the link on the UW website for live coverage didn’t point to the game.

Managed to watch the game and followed the stats on ESPN.

While I want to be excited I am also tempered by intentionally not expecting a first game win.

What I did like about the way the season ended was with winning 5 of the last 6 games.

We had games we just couldn’t find a way to compete in and we had 3 games that we couldn’t finish. I don’t like sub .500 conference records but this was one of the top 5 seasons in the MWC since 2003 specifically because it was a brand new roster.

It will remain to be seen who stays on this roster and who goes elsewhere. I declared earlier this season that there was something special about this team. If the roster stays intact these guys could have some fun being a tough team to play.

Good win to add to playing good ball at the right time of year!! Still kinda sux we gotta play the home team on their floor, but they aren't the UNLV of past years!!!

Honestly that was the best, most fun basketball season in Laramie at the AA since Josh Adam's or Nance eras. Team is fun to watch, coach is awesome, production at the AA with the MC and the events is great.
