Road game that will define if this team has what it will take to play .500 ball in conference this year battling for 6th or if it is slightly better than the bottom feeders in a battle for a 9th place finish.

They have a 7’ freshman playing a lot of minutes otherwise they don’t have a height advantage.
 
Watching the few games I can it does not appear to be a height thing hurting Wyoming but guys that are just more physical and they push out Wyoming easily. They need to harness their Charles Bradley!
 
They need to somehow eliminate those 3-5 minute scoreless droughts. I don’t know how you can make them shoot better but they can improve at working for a better shot.

I don't know why we should ever expect for anything to be different with Tom Burman as the AD!!!!!
 
That deal about 26 wins in the combined sports program is now in serious jeopardy.

I’m looking at maybe 5-6 more wins. That would be the third best conference record in 10 years. No wonder why Wyoming is kicked aside by serious programs like a flea bitten skinny dog. We don’t compete in the upper half.

After years of mediocre basketball Burman still expects the Wyoming faithful to just fill up the AA.....

Just be real with the fan base Burman, you have never ever really been proactive and the ONLY thing you are good at beyond counting beans is building new seats. Everything else you are a bad joke and for this incompetent leadership we pay over $500,000 a year for!

This has been a weird season.

Yes, the competition has improved since we started conference play, but we are also playing worse.

I saw a lot of improvement in the team during the non-conference slate, but outside of the UNLV game, we have regressed significantly since then. Has Sunny lost the locker room?

I don’t know. This was a decent team for the second half of the non-conference slate as evidenced by them giving Texas Tech everything they could handle in a true road game in Lubbock.

That team doesn’t lose to Fresno State. There has been a big step backward in the level of play since conference play began.

I don’t either.

I will say that Sunny’s high energy mantra heavy coaching style could easily wear thin on a team if they aren’t seeing positive results on the floor. He has called the team out multiple times to the media questioning their toughness and heart. While he may be accurate in doing so, you can lose a team real quick with stuff like that.

All that to say, I wonder if Sunny has lost the locker room.
