We've lived too long in the past and this Josh Allen adoration/cj is all we can cling to. NIL is gonna kill us and and I bet 90% of Wyomingites ain't going for funding spoiled and entitled college athletes.

It's past time to step down from Div. 1 and join the ranks of the FCS. It'd be pretty cool to battle Montana, MSU, North Dak State, etc. instead of trying to keep up with the Jones'es in a can't win arms race.

F### That. I never would want to drop a division. There are a lot worse programs in D1 than WYO. WYO Just needs a new AD. Someone who knows how to navigate the NIL era. I do not think that this wild west NIL transfer portal era is gonna last much longer than 5 years. I think there will be more structure to it. (salary caps, provisions on transfers) Very few can sustain this current model.

The status quo is not sustainable. I hope the structure you believe is possible becomes a reality soon but given the issues involved and the lack of leadership I am worried that nothing will be done for a much longer time.

I am not advocating for any dropping in the level of Wyoming Athletics BUT at the same time I have lost all hope in Tom Burman doing anything close to producing an actual winner in Wyoming football. When Tom Burman moves on (can't be too soon), I will see where the University of Wyoming goes in the hiring of a new AD. It is sad to think that a blind squirrel will be more successful than Tom Burman in reaching their goals.

It is pretty obvious that you are on the southside of the number 10 for active brain cells. Considering the level that Wyoming football is at the present to have the attendance levels that we had this last season shows that the fan base is there way more than the achievement level of the team.
