Let’s go Poke Nation! We finally have a basketball team that plays 100% at all times, they can score, and there are players that are waiting to see and hear what the AA can be when it’s full! Sunny is working a miracle right now and I don’t think we’ve had a crowd of 9-10,000 since 2015. That’s 10 years! If you go this Saturday, bring a friend, tell that friend to bring a friend, and so on. Students are out for winter break but that doesn’t mean some of you can’t come back for the weekend. If half of the students that attend football go, that’s a huge chunk. This team deserves it and I promise you, you won’t be disappointed! Go Pokes!

I agree! I think this team has more depth than 2015 though. I think we are looking at the best team since 2001-2002 as far as depth goes. I know we have only played a couple tough teams but we are so fun to watch because there isn't a huge drop off when the bench players come in.
 
With the students gone on break, will anyone notice? Their attendance (and all really) has been pathetic. If I was in the UW AD, I would get something going in that section during the break...maybe make it a family 4 pack with an add on. For $50 you can take your family of 4, and if you have more than 4, an additional $10 per kid. Something. Of course, that takes work, and out of the box thinking, which the UW AD doesn't do / have either.

Unfortunately, I don't think we get anywhere near 9-10k.

We might get 6k. A lot of people will be starting to travel for Christmas and there will still be a sizable portion of the casual fanbase that has not bought in yet and probably aren't even aware that Grand Canyon is now a conference game.

Just keep winning...we will get some big crowds starting in January if we can keep winning.

Love this idea. Even when the students are back. They hardly go to the games, anyway.
 
Does the program deserve anything yet? We have a 35% MWC winning percentage over the last 21 years. This year, We have smoked a bunch of no name teams and lost to anyone good.

Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE this particular team and would be thrilled with sell outs , but I think it may take a bit more to get the casual fan on board again.

6K would be amazing! 9-10 is a stretch for December for sure, but it’s a great goal for Wyoming fans to climb to as the season goes on. Kind of like the great WNIT run on ‘07. Challenge the fans, and they will come!

Some kind of a deal should be thrown out there. It’s a game that isn’t on TV, just streaming, and family packages for individual games might be a better approach than the multi game packages. Gotta build up to that. Students need to quit being lame and go make the game fun. Quit waiting for an excuse to be entertained! A big crowd with a crazy atmosphere might spark a whole new level from the guys on this team. Could be quite a show!

I was there in the days the Dome of Doom was feared....if we can every get back to those crowds, it's and easy 10-20 point advantage at home....those days were insane!...need to find the next Cotton Eyed Joe guy

The Free pizzas for student section was a huge draw....the AD needs to bring back the students over the "contributors" Students make the Dome of Doom...not the stogy hand sitters that complain about having to stand during a game....
