I'd pay Jeff Mowry a couple hundred grand with incentives to test him out at the next level. Maybe he's the Wyoming version of Joey McGuire. What would it hurt at this point lol.

Didn’t he more or less just keep what Don Julian had going? Don was the one that we should have taken a shot at (he was a position coach at UW between his riverton and Sheridan years, but they never elevated him). I knew Don a little bit when I was a teenager
That’s cool man! Yes. He’s a Julian disciple from his Riverton days. It’s just an impressive culture they have up in Sheridan. I think you get my point

I see WHSAA basketball season started yesterday. 1A Lingle-Fort Laramie beat Cheyenne South by 25 points.
LFL has 100 students and South has over 1300.

Lingle is ranked #1 in 1A, but yeah that should never happen, and you have to wonder how it does, especially in basketball.
Can someone give me a quick rundown of what in the hell is the problem with athletics at Cheyenne South? Do families get to choose which high school their kids attend?

Someone from Cheyenne could probably give you more info, but my understanding is that they do have boundaries drawn for the 3 high schools but that there are some easy loopholes and other funny business that goes down. For example, I heard that a student could easily get a waiver to attend East because it has an IB program and the other schools don't.
