Looking ahead: are there 2 wins?

I think we get dog-walked by Hawaii. That will be a more difficult game than SUDS - IMHO. We seldom get wins on the islands even when the Bows are not great - and they finally have a roster and staff that is capable of putting up a lot of points quickly...and a defense that is fairly stout. I love the fact that Hawaii is good. I think it is great for the conference and reminds me of my early fandom in the wacky WAC days.

If the NV D doesn't pack it in, that game scares me. A bad special teams play for the POKES or if the POKES don't get a turnover, it's going to be tight. If they don't have 5 turnovers, a key fumble at the 6, and almost 100 yards in penalties, the bsu game would have been a lot more interesting. Late season game and only 1 win, they might call it quits too, but definitely reason to worry. Glad it's home.

Likelihood of remaining game wins
1 Nevada- they SUCK and its in Laramie
2 Fresno- absolutely no feel for them and road game
3 Hawaii- road game
4 SDST- strong CCG candidate and road game.

Are there 2 wins there? I think so. 6-6 and another crappy MAC team bowl match up doesn't keep this from being a frustrating and disappointing season though.

I think we get the win against Nevada. Or at least we should. There is no legitimate excuse to lose that game.

The crowd should be electric with Josh Allen back for his jersey retirement. Players should feed off that energy and come out with their hair on fire. Expect it to look a lot like the CSU game.

I don't think we win any of the other three remaining games though.

My win probabilities per last four games:

At SDSU: 20.9% chance of win
At Fresno State: 30.6% chance of win
Nevada (home): Toss Up (50%)
At Hawaiʻi: 33.7% chance of win

Most likely wins:

vs Nevada Wolf Pack (home game)
  • Wyoming hosts Nevada according to the schedule.
  • Nevada has had a rough season in the conference.
  • Home‑field advantage gives Wyoming a better shot.
  • So this one is the most probable win.
@ Hawaii Rainbow Warriors (road game)
  • Although it’s an away game (which makes it harder), Hawaii tends to be more beatable than the top conference teams this season, and Wyoming may have a realistic shot.
  • If Wyoming wins the Nevada game as above, getting a second win against Hawaii would push them toward bowl eligibility and the team may fight as hard as hell to get the victory.
  • This is the second most plausible of the four IMHO.
