I expected The Cowgirls to go to the WNIT. Did they get snubbed? Did they turn down the bid? I guess I don't understand the selection process

WNIT is not affiliated with the NCAA and costs us money to host. WBIT is paid for, so it's a better tournament to be in.

WBIT is the 2nd best women’s tourney. WNIT=CBI
