I’m guessing there will be a sparse Wyoming presence compared to recent years.I am flying into Denver on Thursday morning (Laramie trip Friday morning) and have not bought tickets yet. I know the visitors section is in a crap area, but does anyone know of anywhere else that’s good to sit with other Wyoming fans? Would rather not end up in jail before flying to San Jose for the Boise game on Sat.
Hawaii and Fresno fans are so much worse than anything I’ve ever seen from a CSU fan. I have not had any issues with then in Laramie, San Jose or Fort Collins during games.I really hate attending games there. They are the rudest, most hostile group of people I’ve ever encountered. I left my seats once last game to get a hot dog (which was the worst food I’ve ever attempted to eat) and I was flipped off by two whole groups of people. Once by a group of early 20s females. Everyone associated with that university is truly a bunch of mofos. And at the last game at Hughes Stadium. I got into a fight with a csu kid that wouldn’t leave us alone
Part of the problem is where the students sit. They are all over the stadium. And yeah, they are rude. I was confronted a few years ago by some students who told me it was time to go home. The other part of the problem is alcohol. You really have to watch where you walk as seeing a student throw up in the walkway is not unusual. Having said that, I've enjoyed our wins there. Our only loss to the sheep in the last 8 years was the covid game, where fans weren't allowed in! So I'll be there again. I like our chances with Waley and Anderson doing their thing. I just hope Sargent is playing.I really hate attending games there. They are the rudest, most hostile group of people I’ve ever encountered. Interesting, S Mike. I admittedly have no dealings with either Fresno or Hawaii fans.Hawaii and Fresno fans are so much worse than anything I’ve ever seen from a CSU fan. I have not had any issues with then in Laramie, San Jose or Fort Collins during games.
Just tell the ticket seller you are a Wyo grad. You will get a good seat.I am flying into Denver on Thursday morning (Laramie trip Friday morning) and have not bought tickets yet. Whoops! I though the game was in Laramie. All bets are off. Sorry.Just tell the ticket seller you are a Wyo grad. You will get a good seat.
My biggest concern is CSU has developed a running attack. New Mexico (which sucks) was able to run at will against Wyoming so CSU is likely to do the same. I thought our defensive line and linebackers were the strengths of the team before the season started, now I cannot identify anything which is a strength for Wyoming. Certainly not play calling or game management.10 point dogs tonight. While I hope we’ve unlocked something on offense - taking off the brown and gold glasses, I’m seeing tonight as a likely loss.
Punting. We finally have a pretty good punter. My biggest concern is CSU has developed a running attack. Hate to say I agree. Watching our defense reminds me of some of the awful defenses we had under Christianson. We get gashed up the middle and then lose foot races to the end zone. If the coaching was competent, this might go differently. But I'm trying to think of a single coaching staff that has a lower football IQ than ours. None comes to mind.10 point dogs tonight.
